The seeds germinate really quick. As it´s my fist time I wanted to gain some experience but I wasn't sure if I am able to be as experimental as I wished so I started with the "Easy Start" kit of RQS. As there were 3 Free seeds i used two of them as experiment and tried the wet towel method for them. And I have to say that those seeds exploded within 2 times one of them even developed leaves out of the Seed. Stressed out to plant them all at the same time i placed the seeds inside the cloth pots. I found it hard to find an instruction on how exactly place the seeds in the soil. It isn't that complicated but my dum ass broke one of the roots ( I planted in anyway but I am sure it won't recover). I am also not sure how often to water but in the beginning when they didn't sprout I watered them 3 times a day and now I switched to wait till the top layer is close to dry and than water them again. But really anxious to water them to less as I think that I am watering to less that the bottom layer is actually moist. But as far as good I saw that the Fat Banana leaves have brown spots already but I think I just leave it as it is as the last days were really hot up to 35 degrees.
Really big difference in grow and unfortunately one seedling broke so we are left with 6 plants. I have problems with deciding when to water the plants, but i follow the strategy as i read a lot of times here to wait till the top layer is dry and then water 1 L of water with a ph of 6-7 that is obtained with the BioBizz pH-.
So on the exact day the second week ended i start to fertilize since the plant were a bit behind. I fertilize them twice a week with 2ml/l. Till now that worked fine but i am a bit afraid to over fertilize them. Today i recognized, that on the back side of the leafs are small holes and the leafs are at certain spots really thin. But there also good news, when i carried them out this morning i recognized a small scent, and i am astonished that they already begin to smell this early.
Hey, right now everything goes great, not the best weather situation, but every second day there is a greate sunny day. I tryed to top one of the plants, since this should be a experimental grow.
I just continue to fertilize them every second day. And I did a bit of an defoliation but idk if it’s really effective but let’s see. The plat that I topped last week has grown two main strains now so that worked out.
Hello everyone,
I'm sorry that I haven't updated this diary, I've been on holiday. While I was on holiday my mum watered the flowers with normal tap water. Normally I would be very careful about the pH and the fertiliser, but I couldn't get my mum to keep an eye on these things. Now that I am back I was surprised how much they have grown in two weeks. But two of them have started to get yellow leaves. And I'm not sure if it's because they haven't had enough water or if there's a lack of nutrients. And one of the plants has little pods and they don't look like male pods but I'm not quite sure.
I Bought two more fertilizer but i am not queit sure if i use them right. Everytime i water the plants i do it with 12 Liters 2/Plant and that for i use like 48 ml of every fertilizer since BioBizz write in their table that u can use them togheter. But after the first time i did it i noticed nutrient burn so i stopped doing it and just put some Bio-Bloom into the water last time, and t think next time i will just try it with half of everything and see what happenes. And a even bigger accident accured, after a strom i noticed that the best plant snapped right at the top i made a splint with a training wire and some electrical tape. As now for me the plant looks like she's recovering but its my first time growing so lets see.
Sorry for not updating the past week but it has been rainy days where I live so the plants couldn’t be outside. But the plant that snatched recovered and only the plant where I did the topping is a bit behind.
