Simply growing

Had a bit of a gnat infestation on another plant. Now she lives by the beach!

It's week 4 and now she's tall enough to send her to the gym for some light gymnastics. I use safety pins and soft twine. Basically have to re-adjust daily, because she's growing fast. End of Week 4 and she's in preflower.

Start of Week 5, she looks healthy so far. Drinking 500ml per watering now. Buds are developing slowly. I kept her VERY low and hope for a good stretch 😅 End of Week 5, I'd say we're flowering now. I can see a little sugar sprinkled over it 👀 She's very deep green, will keep an eye on the new leaves. Maybe there is a slight nitrogen burn? 🧐 She's drinking 1l every 2-3 days, depending on the heat in the tent. 30°C outside

Start of Week 6: I have lowered the light and also defoliated the leaves that were not receiving any light. The plant is very bushy and still a very deep green. For this watering, I left out BioGrow. Let's see how she develops. Easily drinking 1l after 2 days of no water. It's still hot outside, guess she needs a watering every second day now. Thirsty girl 🌿 🥦 End of Week 6: she's gonna be a shorty, but the bud sites are developing well, a lot of trichomes. Next time I won't do a full LST with her, just topping. Lesson learned 😅

End of week 7 Buds are developing nicely, very dense, sticky and a nice smell 🤤 Growing quite bushy, had to take a bunch of lower leaves off. Next round I won't do LST, will instead try to do topping early on. Unfortunately I had a hermaphrodite in the tent in very late bloom, caught it early and chopped it. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Beginning of week 8: she's not very hungry for nutes, to be honest, since I used fertilized soil I probably could have left out the BioGrow completely. Tiny lady, but already dense and sticky buds. Fun growing so far. We have insanely hot days with 32°C, on top of that I changed my Growlight yesterday, from a 65W to the 100W Mars Hydro LS600. The temperature has risen by 2 degrees in the tent. Hard to get it down. Either I try to unscrew the driver and hang it outside the tent, or the pc fan I ordered will help. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 End of week 8: she has incredibly dense and bushy buds, very sticky, many trichomes. Yesterday I diagnosed 🧐 a Calcium(?) and maybe slight nitrogen deficiency. She's getting a little BioGrow and CalMag now. The pc fan I ordered isn't doing a lot, maybe 0,5°C less, but at least the lamp isn't so hot to the touch anymore.

Beginning of week 9: Not much to say, I tried to tie it down more, so the buds get more light. Still re-adjusting the deficiency. Upped the light from 18h to 20h End of week 9: Thanks to the tips from you guys, I think the deficiency signs came from me adjusting the pH of my water too quickly. The pH of the tap water here is 7,7, in the beginning I used lemon juice to get the pH down, but it went down to 7,0 max - I then started using pH down and adjusted to 6,25. I guess the plant was shocked 😲 Not a lot of growth this week, at least the problem didn't spread.

Beginning of week 10: She seems to have recovered somewhat from the pH stress and is slowly getting used to it. Lots of trichomes that slowly turn milky, sticky buds, good girl ☺️ Watering every second day with 1l water + nutes End of week 10: She's exploding with a wave of new pistils, fattening up quite a bit

Beginning of week 11: I almost can't believe, that the trichomes are mostly milky already. This is my second plant, my first one (a Fat Banana Automatic) is 2 months older and the ripeness of both is basically the same 😅 Guess this one wasn't AS tortured as the other one, gives me hope 🤞🏼 I'm just letting her do her thing now. Reduced nutes by half. Day 74: since I reduced light hours she's ripening well, pistils are turning, 90% milky, amber is coming Stopped giving her nutes yesterday.

Pistils retreated and turned orange, trichomes are 95% milky, 5% amber, she's very sticky. Would have liked to leave her a bit longer, but I'm going on vacation in a few days. I'm drying her upside down for 4 days, then I'll have to trim and put the buds in a net. After a few days my plant nanny can simply put them in a TerpLoc bag. I hope it works 🤞🏼 I will submit dry weight and smoke report as soon as it is ready.
