Plants left pretty much unattended the entire week. pH spiked up to 6.5 during this time, might have to start looking at the pH every couple of days and correcting accordingly.
So far, so good, leafs looking a little lime green, but it's been a long time since my last hydro grow, so I'll play it conservative and wait before I start increasing individual nutrients.
Plant growing nicely, not having to do almost anything with this setup. Haven't been checking pH or EC values but the plant is looking good. not sure I will do any topping either, might put a scrog net soon though.
So far this setup is pretty great in the sense I haven't done anything with it :D Will probably be doing my first tank emptying soon as it looks like it's starting to flower.
Didn't do any topping or use any scrog net. this is really a set-and-forget grow.
Let's see how the setup behaves during flowering though and if any problems pop up
Still not touching the plant or setup and just letting it be pretty much. Did a full tank water removal and started to add some Calcium Magnesium as I'm seeing some deficiencies on the leafs.
So far this setup has been incredibly easy, haven't had to do anything, no topping, no training, etc. Could have used a scrog to keep the main branch a bit shorter but it looks like it should work out.
Still progressing nicely. Some damage on the leafs but it looks like it's under control now that I've added Calcium Magnesium.
I definitely should have used a scrog net here as the height went a bit out of control, but it's easy to let this grow slide without giving it too much attention, the DWC has really turned out to be a carefree setup.
Overall this genetic seems to be fast as fuck flowering. Let's see if the plant keeps on behaving nicely or if I find myself with some rapid crisis.
The one thing that is a breath of fresh air is the lack of bugs compared to the soil setup.
Had to change the solution in the tank as I fucked up the amounts of nutrients in the previous weeks as I didn't pay attention to the nutrient instructions.
I have been doing things very randomly and with no consistency and yet this plant seems to be doing pretty well.
Some signs of hermaphroditism unfortunately have started to show, could likely be all the randomness. I've tried to remove as many male "balls" as I could find to avoid having seeds later on. Let's wait and see how things evolve.
