First Grow: Dutch Passion Auto CBD Strains indoor on window sill, no artificial lights - sunlight only!
Each of the three seeds were planted on different times:
CBD Auto Blackberry Kush was planted early April (way too early for Automatics on window sill - would not do that again but I was impatient :) )
CBD Auto Compassion Lime was planted late April. (suboptimal)
CBD Auto White Widow was planted around mid May (which seems to be the best time due to maximum strength of sunlight for the whole growth cycle)
The windows are oriented south-southwest with up to 5 hours of direct sunlight per day.
All three plants grew in 8 Liter pots with fresh soil (for tomatos) - there was NO fertilizer added during the whole grow.
You can clearly see the difference in growth for each plant due to different germination dates, leading to different levels of total sunlight per day:
Blackberry Kush only stayed very little (planted way too early)
Although Compassion Lime was ahead against White Widow due to sunnier weather, White White will later outgrow her by far because she took longer to enter the preflowering stage.
Blackberry and Compassion Lime both started preflowering after 4 weeks of growth.
White Widow on the other hand took a total of around 6 weeks before she entered preflower stage. That´s why she became huge in comparison to the other two plants.
Blackberry does not only have beautiful purple buds, but also a delicious! smell which reminds of pine, with a little berries added. 10/10 visuals and smell!
Compassion developed a little deficiency because I forgot to water her for like two days. But nothing too serious.
Now White Widow is fully flowering too.
The plants have reached the following, final heights:
Blackberry: 20 cm (lol :) )
Compassion Lime: 30 cm
White Widow: 60 cm (!), the longer veg stage clearly paid off here, which seems to make this autoflowering strain suited for an ultra low budget grow like this with a suboptimal amount of available sunlight.
The smell and color of the strain is simply amazing, would rate 10 / 10 for it.
When smoked, it provides a very subtle, calming effect. I would definitely grow it again to experiment more with harvesting times and taste after longer curing time.
Can be used as an everyday, every situation smoke to feel just a little more relaxed or mix it with high THC strains to decrease the overall power, or simply to enjoy a tasteful smoke.
After drying, there were around 5 grams of buds harvested.
The plant has a nice smell of lemon and sweet cookies. The high is not too intensive and can be managed well by beginners like me. Great body relaxing properties, producing a warm feeling, and decent psychoactivity too: Colors get more intensive, time feels like it´s passing slower - slight couch-lock too but if you wanted to, you could still go after everyday activities, especially when not having smoked too much.
No negative effects at all, except a little dry mouth. I totally recommend this strain!
For this plant I decided to harvest in parts.
First branch (red arrow) was cut on day 98 and subsequently dried.
One day prior to that, a test bud was taken (location: blue circle) and smoked, which already had a nice effect to it.
The buds from every three harvests all produce a nice combined body and head high, not overwhelming at all, with no side effects whatsoever. No significant difference between the three harvest times was observed.
The effect and smell / taste is very similar to the CBD Auto Compassion Lime from Dutch Passion. I absolutely can recommend this strain!
The harvest was split up on three different days (day 98, day 103 and day 108) to check for the effect the harvest time has on the high. Total yield was around 22 grams dry weight.
