First Grow Diary - Think Fast

Growhome_90 The growth has started. It's always a joy to peek into the tent and see the changes. They've been in their final pots (9L each) for 1 week now. 2024-07-30 Today I installed my GoPro since the pots and the watering system are in their final position. Hopefully, there will be a nice time-lapse 😌 2024-08-04 The plants are growing non-stop. It's a joy to open the tent. There are hardly any differences between the pots. Only in height can you say that the one in the Cannpot has grown a bit lower, which gives it a bit more stability. But they are all gaining stem thickness (slight swaying from the fan). They get water every 2-3 days (about 300ml). They manage well with that, and the soil is always slightly moist. Starting Tuesday, I will begin watering and fertilizing the Cannpot from the bottom according to the weekly schedule. For the other two, this time I'm using powdered fertilizer from Bio-Bubatz.

Growhome_90 06-07-2024: The plants have now completed their 2nd week. They are growing beautifully. It's fun because you see new changes every day. I started fertilizing and watering according to the feeding schedule. The Cannpot was filled and fertilized according to the manufacturer's instructions. Afterwards, the plant draws the water-fertilizer mixture from the reservoir. The other two plants in the Airpot and fabric pot were treated with 1 tablespoon of bio_bubatz Grow. The fertilizer is in powder form and is applied on top of the substrate. After that, I watered it from the top.

Growhome_90 07-07-2024: Start of week 3 in the final pot. 13-07-2024: The plants are developing great and have been really taking off since the fertilization. They will be defoliated in the next few days, then allowed to recover from the stress, and will then go into flowering 🍃

Growhome_90 14-08-2024: A new week has begun. The plan is to defoliate the plants on 15-08. Afterwards, they will get a few days to recover before being sent into flowering. I'm slowly noticing that the plants in the pots are growing a bit differently. I don't know if it's due to the genetics or the pots, but I made the following observations: Airpot: Height growth is stronger than in the other two pots. However, it is very narrow and doesn't spread out as much. Fabric pot: It grows both in height and width. Cannpot: The plant is less vigorous in height growth compared to the other two plants. However, it has a lot more leaf mass compared to the other two and grows very bushy. 15-08-2024: The Cannpot has now been on minimum for 2 days and has been refilled according to the schedule. Edit: Just before the dark phase, I defoliated the three. They will now get a few days for regeneration and then it will go into flowering. 18-08-2024: Today I switched the light to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. This marks the start of flowering with the first flowering day. To keep it simple, I will continue to provide the weekly update on Tuesday.

Growhome_90 18-08-2024: Switching to 12h light and 12h darkness. 20-08-2024: Tuesday is feeding day. The Cannpot was filled according to the schedule with water and Gen1.11 nutrients. The other two, I switched from Bio_Bubatz Grow to Bio_Bubatz Bloom. They received a good tablespoon of powder, which was poured in from above. 24-08-2024: No signs of gender are visible yet. However, they continue to grow tirelessly. 26-08-2024: It's time, the ladies have entered pre-flowering. All three are showing female characteristics. (Edit: Pictures)

Growhome_90 2024-08-29: The irrigation system has been programmed for an additional small amount of water for the air/fabric pot. The Cannpot was filled again according to the weekly schedule. This time, due to time reasons, it was done a day later. 2024-08-30: Due to the current weather, I have increased humidity in my tent. The value is at 65-75%. I have now decided to buy a dehumidifier. It should arrive after the weekend. We don't want to risk a mold problem later in the flowering stage. 2024-09-01: Today it was time to trim the small lower shoots and large leaves. The three got a new haircut and can now recover from it. In the photos, you can see a before/after. 2024-09-03: Today it was time for fertilizing/watering again. The airpot/fabric pot was fed with 2 tablespoons of Bio_Bubatz Bloom each and then watered with 500ml of water. The Cannpot was filled according to the fertilization schedule and is now ready to tackle the next week. Additionally, my dehumidifier arrived today. So I can finally get down from the high values.

Growhome_90 2024-09-07: The humidity has stabilized again thanks to the dehumidifier. Furthermore, the flowering is in full swing and the first trichomes are visible on the leaves. 2024-09-10: Today was the weekly program. The Cannpot was watered according to the schedule. The other two will get a new batch of nutrients next week. In the meantime, you can see that the plant in the Cannpot is stronger and larger than the other two. The difference is about 7-10cm. However, it's worth mentioning that the Cannpot is a bit larger, has a different watering method, and came with its own nutrient schedule.

Growhome_90 So far, there are no big news. The buds are getting bigger, the trichomes are taking over the surface of the leaves, and the humidity has also become more stable since the dehumidifier arrived 🙏 2024-09-17: Today was the weekly watering and feeding day again. The Cannpot was fertilized according to the schedule. The two in the fabric and air pot also received the amount of fertilizer according to the schedule.

Growhome_90 The plants are developing beautifully. Only the one in the Airpot shows a nutrient deficiency. The upper leaves are turning light and leaning towards yellowish. It's still too early for the autumn vibe. So, a little adjustment is being made.

Growhome_90 The Cannpot was fertilized and watered according to the schedule on Tuesday. Currently, I give another 2 liters of water on Saturdays, which brings my weekly water consumption to about 6-7 liters. The trichomes on the leaves of the Cannpot are slowly looking nice, but the buds still need a bit more time. The plant in the Airpot is showing signs of N2 deficiency. I have adjusted the dosage and the time intervals. In addition to the Bloom fertilizer, I added a bit of Grow fertilizer as well.

Growhome_90 The Cannpot was fertilized according to the schedule. The trichomes on the buds are still mostly clear with a few milky ones. The other two received a mix of 1 tablespoon of Grow and 1.5 tablespoons of Bloom fertilizer. Currently, it seems that the deficiency is not spreading further, but a few leaves have been affected.
