Late starting this diary on week 5 of flowering.
Excited for my first grow
315 watt cmh
So far so good, 5 out of 5 germination (2 RC, 2 LSSH, 1 critical).
Had to remove one royal cookies plant on week 3 as i needed space and it was behind the others in terms of size and growth.
Topped them around week 3
Switched to 12/12 after 5 weeks.
Supercropped royal cookies as it was stretching closer to the light
Day 34 looking good
Some nice aromas coming out now
Came across some tiny white flies coming from under the pots so keeping my fingers crossed it doesn’t get out of hand
Happy with how the plants are looking at this stage
Thanks for reading peeps ✌️
Day 56
Almost there!
Bad news is I have a hermie. Found 2 bananas on my lemon shining silver haze no.2 plant (in pics) so I picked them off. Hoping it hasn’t done much damage as it’s only shown up now in the last stages of flowering 🙏
Plants are now being flushed so not long now!!
Critical looks ready so she will be first, just want to get in a few more days of flushing.
One love ✌️
Day 63
Ok we got 2 girls drying out in the cupboard (critical and LSSH 2), stinking my room out😂 Other 2 still going strong, will be harvesting in a few days.
Will update with harvest and smoke reports when it’s dry and weighed up.
One love ✌️
58 days flowering
She was really easy to grow, gave me no problems from start to finish, bushy plant with short node spacing, responded well to topping and grew some nice buds
Pretty unique taste, spicy with hints of pine.
Effects are slightly more indica but not too much of a coach lock so ok for a day or night smoke IMHO
I probably wouldn’t have chose this strain as I usually like a more sweet/ fruity taste but this was a free seed from RQS and I’m enjoying the smoke more than expected👊
Grow 10/10
Yield 8/10
Taste 5/10
Effects 7/10
Overall 7/10
Happy with the outcome of my first grow

66 days flowering
Easy to grow from start to finish, both girls took well to topping and produced some sweet stinky bud.
A few bananas did show up on 1 plant in the last week of flowering but had no effect on the bud and not found any seeds
Love the flavour of this strain, citrusy and sweet. Always been a fan of lemon haze and these are some great genetics from RQS
Sativa dominant high, good for anytime of the day, great for blazing with friends!
Plant 1 - 66g
Plant 2 - 54g

66 days flowering
As a first time grower this strain gave me a little trouble early on. Although it did go smooth through flowering.
Beautiful buds, real dense, showing some purple colours
Great taste and smell, hard to describe but it does have a sweet flavour.
Very strong, relaxed, mostly indica high. Probably best to take care of responsibilities before blazing royal cookies
Grow - 7/10

Hey if you are really in week 6 of flower you can still take action in against the flies. These plants should stand for 4-6 more weeks and that's enough time for white flies to really become a problem
THey lay their eggs by the 100s, I would not cross my fingers. I had a massive infestation on strawberry plants and laid waste to the white flies with water + green soap + methylated spirit. That's outdoors where they have predators
They have soft bodies and are mega stupid, loads of things will kill them but as always the eggs are the problem.
Vacuum them up as good as you can. Hang sticky traps, flies will fill them completely if they manage to reproduce well. I have read that a Dr Doom pyrethrum fogger is effective and won't affect buds. Not available for me but maybe you are blessed. Hydrogen peroxide mixed with water can be sprayed safely. 35% at 7ml/L. Some people report using neem oil until late in flower, others say it should not be done and that it affects flavor. Trim the bottom 1/3 of your plant because the lower leaves are an invitation for pests.
Good luck, beautiful grow
@FizzyBuddz, alright, I got mites and shit in week 7 so I too faced the same problem that I could not really spray anything serious. If they are root aphids you can also easily attack them and a variety of bad things with a simple pint of 3% H2O2 to a gallon of water. Might be a good idea anyway since they came from under the pot. Be very aggressive about cleaning after harvest and act like you have a full blown infestation for the next run in the same room is my recommendation =) better safe than sorry 👍
@BillMonroe, just gone in to week 7 now bro, 2-4 weeks to go by the looks of it so not looking to spray them with anything at this stage.
Will take away the lower growth again see if that helps.
Thanks for the advice
Thanks bro! Luckily I managed to control the white fly problem, the numbers started to drop down and now they are nowhere to be seen! Will post update on yield as soon as there off the stems and in jars my friend.
