Tony2jewerlyseeds Greetings from Mexico! I will be updating week by week. 100% recommended genetics and seeds, 2 out of 2 germinated, withstanding the heavy rains, growing outdoors since the start.

Tony2jewerlyseeds Exactly a year ago, we were crossing one of these blisters of dosi-gelato from which 3 out of 5 seeds germinated, giving us two females and a very resinous and smelly male, along with several champion genetics and limited editions like amerth souer diesel x somango, souer diesel, as I would call it. That cross or dosi gelato x dosi gelato was actually always our intention to get the maximum number of seeds possible from our first grow with imported seeds. First, we needed some regular seeds but of good quality and that we knew a bit about their genetics. We researched about dosi-gelato and decided that it would be the first base for our crosses; its effects and aromas caught our attention, plus the name was trendy. We opened several more blisters like blackberry gum, thunder banana, moví d, and several others that I don’t want to name because I want those flavors to be my own invention, hahaha. We read a bit about how we could make seeds, and we did it! We pollinated 11 original or stabilized females (that doesn’t sound bad) and 3 regular females. One of them was sold to us under the name Hulk, another as Cherry, and the last one a bubble gum that we compared its smell and flavor with that of the blackberry gum from seedstockers; it was very similar to our bubble gum but with very good berry notes. In fact, it’s a cross we have in mind to see if with a regular bubble gum male and a blackberry gum from seedstockers we can further improve the flavor and smell. In our country, there are indeed good regular strains. We’ve tried genetics with flavors like mango, blueberry pie, lemon, watermelon, grape, and gas, classic pink gum, banana, and zorrillas. All these genetics and varieties have led us to think that there are actually people who have been knowing about imported seeds for even longer or even better, importing them to research or improve the genetics and their different effects. In 2012, I got access to seed banks and was dazzled by the number of names there were, but I wasn’t 100% sure, so I didn’t want to keep insisting. But names like mango kush, Golden Acapulco, and chronic were already being heard. The price was higher than the other pressed ones we could get, but they had better effects and aromas. By 2018 and 2021, names like blueberry, amnesia, skunk, pineapple, og, kalifas, giraffe, puma, gorilla, Hulk, chocolopez, candy, rainbow, crystal, poison, f1, blue dream, Tutankhamun, shark, snow, Jack herer, and more started to be heard. We have been collecting seeds from different cannabis genetics for 13 years. We have always cultivated those regular seeds, but we had never tried a cross. At first, we didn’t know how to do it; we only knew that we shouldn’t let the male grow. By 2022, after a gift we received from an acquaintance, we tried once again to get imported seeds. He gave us a tube with 10 seeds from the sweet seeds bank, packaged in 2017, leading us to the same question: since when have imported seeds been arriving? Sometimes we smoked original genetics, and instead of feeling bad for not being the first to say that I brought original or imported genetics to my country, I felt happy because I knew that what I had been saving all this time since 2012 could be a great collection from different breeders. We might have several special editions like the froot loops strain, giraffe pussy, chronic, ak47, and that’s how we managed to contact a bank that seemed trustworthy and obtained two blisters of dosi-gelato, blackberry gum, thunder banana, banana blaze, and several more. We have grown several of our crosses, but we still need to keep researching to stabilize our own genetics. I’ll leave you a photo of our cross María Sabina.

Tony2jewerlyseeds The daily rains are starting to stifle my crop, especially the big plants that found a bit of powdery mildew this week. I'll put a fan to control or reduce the humidity, and I'll also clean the entire affected area.

Tony2jewerlyseeds This week I see faster progress than last week. I want to think it was because it rained one day and not the next, and the substrate dried well before it got soaked again. The sun is pretty strong during the day. We'll keep updating our progress; I do it for informational purposes. I don't go into more detail because all this time I've been growing without any kind of parameters. In fact, I don't measure pH. The fertilizers I use are just two: one special for vegetation and development, and the other special for flowering. I also use a bit of molasses and trichoderma for the first week of flowering, and that's it—sun, water, and air. I don't measure humidity or temperature parameters. I think I've been growing blind all this time, hahahaha, but with good results!

Tony2jewerlyseeds Due to my work, I neglected them and as a result, I ended up with a male. Sooner or later it would happen, but my females are still not ready to receive pollen. I also don't want to ruin the grow for others, so I've come to the conclusion to remove it from my garden.

Tony2jewerlyseeds The genetics of Dosi-Gelato are excellent and very resistant to diseases from fungi, pests, or humidity. 100% recommended for high humidity climates. Since the two Dosi Gelato plants germinated, hurricanes started in Mexico, affecting some of my plants this season. But it's like everything, I decided to stick with only the most resistant and strong ones. This week I decided to cut the male Dosi Gelato; it was really hard to cut it since it had an intense aroma, and when you touched the stem, your fingers would get sticky with a strong Gelato scent. We already had the chance to cut clones from some females and save pollen from a male from the same pack. We'll keep you updated!

Tony2jewerlyseeds I left you photos of two plants from a mix pack resistant to extreme climates and pests, still in flowering, and the dosi-gelato still in vegetation. We'll take care of it until the end of November, hoping the rains will finish so we can switch it to flowering schedule.
