New light fixture installed :)
DIY using plans from LEDgardener. 4 Samsung F series gen 3 strips powered by a HLG-240. Plants are taking well to the extra nutrients.
First buds have appeared. Plants are loving the samsung LEDs, cannot turn dimmer up all the way without plants showing signs of light stress. Dimmer at about 65% seems to be the sweet spot. Began feeding blackstrap molasses (1 tbsp / gal.)
Plants have all stopped stretching for the most part and buds are fattening up. Smells real fruity and sweet. 2 out of my 5 girls are lagging behind while the other 3 are starting to show more resin.
Pictures taken at day 34 since flipping to 12/12. Middle plant is the runt of the gang, might be because I topped it 3 times. Other girls were all topped once except for the one I FIM'ed.
The FIM'ed plant and the one I topped 3 times are both lagging behind the other 3 which are fattening up nicely. Middle one isnt even showing sugar leaves yet! Definitely only gonna top once from now on combined with lots of LST.
Being patient while the buds continue to bulk. Going to be a staggered harvest for sure. Some nute burn on 4/5 plants but I am learning lots for future grows.
Burned my plants with nutrients last week and lost most of the nice red senescence fading on the fan leaves. Oh well lol the buds are still looking nice and I am pleased with how my first grow is turning out. Now using compost tea and blackstrap molasses instead of advanced nutrients ph perfect line up.
Gonna give them another 2-4 weeks before I chop.
Chopping down 3 out of 5 plants in about 5 days. Pulled off a test nug from under the canopy to try out my drying setup, conditions are optimal so far at 50% humidity and 21°C. Aiming for a 5-7 day drying time before curing.
Patiently waiting for the girls to finish up. The different phenotypes are really showing their differences here, 1 plant smells sweet and citrus-y, 1 smells like dank orange mr.clean lol, some are fox tailing and 1 is turning a bit red and purple (could be because it is closest to the window).
