Orange Bud

Der Geruch erinnert an Mandarine mit einer leichten süße. Die Blüten sind sehr schön geworden. Der Rauch ist sehr weich und drückt kaum. Der Geschmack ist fruchtig mit einer leichten Note von Orange/Mandarine und einer gewissen Würze. Sehr lecker und wie man das Orange Bud von "früher" in Erinnerung hat. Von der Wirkung her ist das Orange Bud angenehm und eher etwas schwächer, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt.

Ein Traum wird wahr! Mein absolutes Lieblingsweed endlich aus eigenem Anbau. Der Grow an sich verlief ohne nennenswerte Zwischenfälle, wenn dann hatte ich mal wieder Mist gemacht. Aber alle Fehler wurden verziehen und zum Vorschein kam dieses Prachtexemplar voller Power. Ließ sich super gut trainieren und hat wirklich alles gegeben! Schöne große, kompakte und wohlgeformte buds, die einen himmlischen Duft verströmen! Das wird super.. Natürlich konnte ich nicht widerstehen und hab mir die etwas "größeren" Popcorn buds in ein Döschen zur sofortigen Verköstigung zur Seite getan Wat soll ich sagen, es schmeckt bereits. Natürlich ist noch massig Luft nach oben, aber das sind schon mal beste Vorreiter. Nach dem Curing war der Geschmack sehr geil. Leicht Skunky, erdig mit fruchtigem Beigeschmack. Sehr smooth und ideal für zwischendurch Ist zwar nicht das stärkste Weed, aber es kommt dennoch schnell an nach dem Genuss. Sehr angenehm

After 12 days of flushing, and the last week of which were with reverse osmosis water mixed with filtered tap water (0.25 EC/120 ppm), I decided to harvest today because the trichomes are already quite ripe, I think :) A delicious aroma is already wafting from the grow box where I'm drying the whole plants. I only removed the remaining large leaves and those that were slightly necrotic. Overall, and for my first grow under LED lights, I'm quite pleasantly surprised by the resilience of this strain. The calcium and magnesium deficiency or blockage did affect two of the phenotypes in particular, but it seems I managed to somewhat correct the situation in terms of quality, given the result, even though it would certainly have been even better if there hadn't been any deficiencies or blockages that must have limited the stretch a bit. For now, nothing is finished, and the drying process will, of course, determine the final quality :) I'll do a quick update and smoke test when it's dry and cure for a week or two ;) And for those of my generation, I read this on Wikipedia ️ --- "In Space Goofs, an animated television series (1997-2006), an orange alien is named Bud, a reference to the Orange Bud cannabis plant." I wish you all bountiful harvests with that wonderfully strong smell we love :) Update ️ After 8 days of drying at 60/60, and trimming last night, I'm more than satisfied with the result. The three phenotypes each have their own distinct aroma: one is rather citrus/orange and earthy/resinous, another has a strong citrus/orange and very sweet scent (the one that most reminds me of the one I smoked 20 years ago), and the third, the one with slightly purple leaves, is also sweet but has a surprisingly heavy, gassy/resinous smell. The buds were still a bit fresh during trimming, but after opening each jar and removing the buds, they're now between 64 and 66% humidity according to the thermo/hygrometer inside the jars, so curing has officially begun :) And as a bonus: a nice ball of approximately 3g of finger hash
