Picked up some bud trainers. Went out of town and needed some defoliation when I got back.

I'm thinking it's a magnesium deficiency? I use distilled water. From what I've been reading I probably haven't been using cal mag as I should, I was worried I was going to over do it and cause a nute lockout. Nutrients I use are in the pics. Thanks in advance.

Potassium lock out problem due to incorrect root zone pH is what the leaves are telling me. Soil pH can be very different to fertilizer/water pHBJust because your nutrientsare at 6.0 pH, does not mean your soil pH will be the same. Check your soil pH. Purple stems could be related to this as well, but I actually think the purple stems are a type of light burning caused by unnecessary heavy defoliation. Tap water is fine for plants, I do not think using distilled water is the best idea and it is basically a waste of money in my opinion.

1st off sorry for asking such newbie questions. These close ups are from the top most buds. I know I'm supposed to be looking for 10% amber. My question is how fast do trichombs mature. I don't want to miss my window. Planning to chop in 10 days. Should I go sooner? Hold off?

No do not chop her in 10 days. The top cola always mature the fastest. Watch the middle buds how their thricomes are. You need to make an overall search for amber thricomes. I would say you have to go with 2-3 more weeks before you harvest! If you see a lot of clear thricomes you are not there yet. And from what I can see your girl has much more to give! It’s the last 2-3 weeks when your buds get fat and your plant change colors! Give it some PK boost and prepare for the flush in 1,5/2 weeks let it use all of it stores nutes in the leaves and in the soil. Lower the temperatures and you maybe get some purple tones Hard to see if it’s finished from just one bud on one picture. But u can promise at least 2 more weeks!
