Summer Basement Grow / Marshmallow OG / Nutter Budder / Tezla OG / Florganics Living Soil
Plants had some trouble at the beginning as my soil was too warm. The plants developed well after soil was ready fermented. After that i had not any issues at all anymore.
Day 14 since flip to flower
Just removed 1-3 leaves per plant where i found wet spots between overlaying leaves. Try to get my relative humidity down with dehumidifier but the environment gets humid over night again. (65° at night and 58° at day when dehumid runs.
Defoliation on day 16 of Flower as humidity got too hight for my taste. Just removed lower groth that recieved no light and blocked the airflow in the lower parts of the tent.
day 28 since flip to flower
I just removed 1-2 leaves per plant that touched buds. At the beginning of the week i watered 1 L every day - to the end of the week it went down a little to maybe 800ml per plant. Buds start to swell and trichomes are starting to stink.
bending some sticks to give better light penetration to lower parts of the plants.
Added green grass layer for bacteria and better watering ability.
Just added NeemOil one time to prevent fungus gnats. Rest of the time only watering once a day a little amount.
Terps start to develop:
Tezla OG = kushy, planty smell
Marshmallow OG = Kushy Earthy smell
Nutter Budder = Super Nutty and Calí Kushy Smell the best one out of the three yet.
VPD between 1.5 - 1.6 (26-27 Celsius and around 55% Humidity)
Just watering with clear water since living soil is doing the rest.
I tied up some branches which were hanging down because the buds getting too heavy on the Marshmallow OG. Other Plants did not need any support to hold buds.
Buds on Marshmallow OG are the biggest and pretty dense but not that strong in smell.
Buds on Nutter Budder are rock solid and super terpy - for now my favourite.
Tezla OG smells classic danky lemonene like kushy.
On Day 45 of flower i did final little defoliation.
Added a little Neemoil with emulgator to prevent fungis gnats larves to survive.
Temperatures a cooling down due to autumn. Surprisingly the RH is not rising to my plesure.
I was just watering the plant as usual. Removed 1-2 leaves per plant here and there where budsights were blocked. the smell is getting really intense now.
i checked the trichomes on different levels of the Flowers.
Tezla OG = 70% Milky 30% clear
Marshmallow OG = 75% Milky 25% clear
Nutter Budder = 80 % Milky 20% clear
Aroma is getting more intense on every strain.
used fishing lines to help Marshmallow OG holding its Buds because they get so heavy.
temps variate on daytime between 21 -24 °C and RH of 45 - 55%
nighttime its 18 - 19 °C and RH of 41 - 50%
the plants are colloring purple and the terps are getting more intense by each day. Nutter Budder had startet growing 2 Nanas in 2 of its Buds. I think the Nutter Budder was more like a 9 weeker when the other 2 strains are more like 10 weeker
Harvested at day 65 of flower
Appearance is great, it started purpeling quiet fast and beautifully.
Nutter Budder was growing great and had good ratios in dimensions (internodial space and leave sice)
I had almost nothing to defoliate.
Has the most potent smell in the tent - Nutty, Creamy, Gassy,
I wish i would have had a bigger pot for the plant :D
dry weight of buds after trimming = 93 gram and about 5 gram of Trim so 98g Total.
Actual plan was to leave the plant some more days but after seeing some Nanas developing inside the buds i decided to cut it at day 65 of flower.
great smell and cant wait to smoke the final product. All in all definetly a good strain for living soil.
The plant was growing well and is a good producer, believe it or not but a total of 169g dry buds out of a 14L Pot . Terps are on the creamy gassy side. No Fruits at all, pure Dank icecream. Its super gassy Icecream i guess ther comes the jet fuel gelato trough but i like it :)
The overall growth was pretty good, ínternodial space and leave sice was ok not too big or high stretch.
I my particular case the plant has absolute no terps compared to the other 2. The joint has almost no flavour besides bourning material. Also i found a lot of microseeds. Im Sure i had no Herm in this grow as the other 2 straings have no Seeds/Microseeds at all.
propably gonna make BubbleHash out of it.
Plant grew well and had no big issues. The Trichomes are really sandy and hard. the flavour goes into koffee and sour notes. This could be a good rosin or hash maker plant. Plant was growing relatively short compared to previous grows.
Plant got Purple leaves at the end of flower circle. It produced some NaNAS at late flower.
@haeknp3nnr, thanks mate! The Soild should have fermented for at least 4 weeks but i only did it for 2 weeks. The biological process in the soild made the pot really feel warm and the plant were not looking too happy(hanging leaves and slightly burned tips) . After 2 weeks everything was fine for the plants.
