Growreport Goldenweeds

Goldenweeds Plants arrived at my place. All healthy and handled the transport well. Even in the days following, no signs of stress. They’re supposed to get another boost, be trimmed, and then sent into flowering. The light is currently set to R49 W99 B99.

Goldenweeds Unfortunately, I had a bit of stress after all. One of them has already gone into pre-flowering and decided to ruin the project "I'm creating a monster." Whatever, off to pre-flowering with you then.

So far, the soil life is visible and there are no problems or signs of stress throughout the whole grow.

Goldenweeds Another week without major issues or incidents that I couldn't handle. The humidity is a bit too high for my liking, so some leaves need to go. Once I have the scissors in hand, I might as well take off a few branches from the bottom too. I already knew that the net wouldn't do much for the stable strain I have, but these wildly different phenotypes are really intense. Branches are being moved as much as possible and nodes are being placed so they can grow in properly without me having to intervene too much.

Goldenweeds The first deficiency appears, I slightly increase Bloom and Micro. Spoiler: Deficiency doesn't occur again until the end of the grow. Instead, very slight signs of over-fertilization appear towards the end. Buds are getting bigger and it's becoming clear which branches have the potential to form really nice buds. Goldenweeds Buds getting denser and denser. Soon I'll have to trim some leaves again to let light in everywhere. Still bright leaves on one of the plants but no further deficiency. Fertilizer seems to be working well. One of the plants is getting very spindly buds. It won't be much in the end, but it's one of the tastiest phenotypes of them.

Goldenweeds I'm actually quite glad that one of them went into flowering too early. What would it have been like if I had really gone all out in veg and built half trees? Okay, leaves definitely need to come off for the most part. RLF is at 68%, that needs to come down or else I'll have bud rot or Botrytis. You see, it's just getting bigger and bigger.

Goldenweeds As announced, it's now been shaved down here. I'm giving enough light so I can take off quite a few leaves. The high temperatures require high measures. It's not going to be much longer now; they'll manage as long as enough leaves remain, enough chlorophyll can be produced to supply the buds with nutrients.

Goldenweeds Don't have much to say, except for how much it sparkles in the grow box. It's growing and getting bigger.

Goldenweeds Final stretch. Blue is slowly being turned up while red and white are slowly being turned down. I'm not putting ice water on my plants, nor will I stress them in any other way. Nutrients are slowly being reduced, but I'll be watering until the end with a microsiemens value of 200. Just enough Calmag until the end to strengthen the cell walls. In the last 2 days before the harvest, there will only be blue light and then it's harvest time. I got a bit mixed up with the days. Flowering time was exactly 71.
