Moved into a colder part of the basement. Plants seem to be enjoying it. Added some bud trainers to the taller tops. Flipping to flower this week and transitioning into bloom feed.
My plant hermied out on me. Didn't see any open nanner sacks but I did find some premie ones and seeds developing in the bracts. I quarantined her back into the 2x4 and wiped down the walls on my 4x8. No signs on the others but ow screwed am I?
Its still smokable weed, just grinding needs to be done by hand. Any grinded seeds makes splif taste waxy ugly.
From time to time you get few random seeds on plant , but not more than 3-5.
Hermied plant could polinate all and heavily. I had it once, more than kilo of weed with seeds, still all was consumed.
If polination is heavy - you can always do bubble hash or eatables.
She's in quarantine for the rest of the grow. Went thru for a good two hrs at least plucking seeded bracts and only for another 3 pollen sacks. Not contained to any one side of the plant or anything so I'm leaning genetics. She never really saw much stress other than light training and one topping. Should have caught it earlier. The three that I found weren't open yet but they were way up inside the plant. Live and learn I guess.. continuing to keep an eye out for new formations.
Still haven't seen any big signs of nanners since that first bit but the buds are definitely going to have seeds. Kinda bummed out about it but it's my first grow. I think I messed up with too intense of light too fast when flipping to flower. I think I stressed her out too much especially with her being the tallest plant getting too close to the light during stretch
Huge main colas. Needed a support system fashioned some anchors out of some twine. Judging by closeups still needs at least a week or two. I'll keep my eye on it.
