I thought in the heat it will not grow much, but the buds are getting bigger day by day. Looks like the plant have no problem with the hight temperature.
At the start of the week 30% of the pistils was brown. At this point I stopped to give her nutrients and give her only water. Over the week the most pistil (70%) turned into brown. Only a few new white pistil popped up. The smell is really strong now. At the end of the week, she was not drinking much anymore. Normally I was watering her two or three times per day. And just a few minutes after watering her the soil was dry like before. Now I give her only one watering per day and the soil stays the whole day wet. For me it's a sign that she is coming to her end (if she stops drinking and eating it means that she don't grow anymore). When I look at the trichomes, she is only a few days away from harvest. Now I'm just waiting for the right day to harvest.
It's one of my faverite strains that I growed many times indoor before. This was the first outdoor grow with that strain. It was really cool to see her performing outdoor. Indoor the plants growing different as under the sun. This time she was showing her natural shape, under a lamp she stays more compact. It's a really good strain for outdoor growing, even in the heatwave she was not showing any symptoms of heatstress.
I can't wait to smoke her, I love the taste of this strain and under the sun you become some terpenes out of your plant that you never become in a growbox.
At the beginning of week 12 the plant was ready for harvest. I looked at the plant in the morning and the trichomes looked good. At this point the plant becomes no water anymore and after 10 hours in the sun she went into the dark growbox. The next day she stayed in the dark too. The morning after that I harvested her 30 minutes before sunrise.
Update:
The first smoke was great, I really love the taste of this strain. It's not a stoner weed, the effect is more energetic and bring you in a really good mood. Tryed some small buds after drying. I will cure the bigger buds a few weeks before smoking, I will post here a second smoke rewiew after curing
