Germination

BOTAN1ST Although Mike of Mandala Seeds doesn't recommend germination in paper towels, i like to use this method, because i can see the germination and sort out non-germinated seeds. Sorry Mike 😜 Laughing Buddha germinated after 1 day. Waiting for the Satori... Satori germinated after 2 days :)

BOTAN1ST Week 3 31.08.2024 - Topped the Laughing Buddha after the 4th node. Satori will be topped a little later. The Satori has a tinge of red, so we'll decide to let it grow for a cutting/scion later :) 02.09.2024 - Repotted both plants into 5,7L containers 03.09.2024 - Topped the Satori after the 3rd node

BOTAN1ST Week 4: Mainlining the Laughing Buddha (topped after node 3) and just topped the Satori (topped after node 4, she lost a leaf, unlucky) Of course the growth chart is not as accurate as it could be, because of the training and topping. - note to myself: need to clean the tent -

BOTAN1ST After 33 days of vegetation we had started the flowering phase :) The Laughing Buddha shows some sort of phosphorus deficiencies. We'll have an eye on that... Satori looks pretty healthy 👍

BOTAN1ST Week 3 of flowering: Again both plants show signs of a calcium deficiency. We added some dolomitic lime and Calcinit. 29.09.2024: Started to feed a bit higher dosages around 1,5 EC, with extra calcium. If they wont look better in a few days, we will repot them into larger containers :)

BOTAN1ST Week 6: Both plants are recovering and getting their green back. The Laughing Buddha still has an issue with calcium, but it won't get any worse. The Satori became nice green and is still stretching a little bit.

BOTAN1ST The Satori has some weird leaf growth on top. No side branches but only calyx. Looks like salad. Never had something like that before. Checked the light timers, it's not reveg. The Laughing Buddha became completely black. Really nice phenotyp :)

Week 15. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

During the vegetative stage, Laughing Buddha gave off a strong, tropical and exotic aroma—very distinctive and pleasant. As the plant matured, it developed deep, dark colors, turning almost black and becoming completely covered in resin. While the scent faded a bit towards the end, the stunning colors and generous yield more than made up for it. A unique and rewarding strain overall.
