I like THC varieties, but I'm growing this variety for my man. He likes the CBD. I'm kind of meh about it. Not super excited, about the variety per se, but trying ScrOG for the first time is fun. My initial impression is that I prefer mainlining photo-period plants better.
The buds are growing right up out of the screen now. I think we did okay. The canopy is *fairly* even. Lots of buds... I think hubby will be happy with the CBD yield. I'm growing this one just for him because I don't personally care for CBD :)
The Scrog is looking really good :) Loads of bud sites, and they are all getting fat. Looking forward to working more with auto flowering varieties. This was our test set-up...
These plans are just way to easy to grow. The hardest part was building the scrog contraption... after that is was easy mode. There are three plants growing into a small jungle. The trick is to determine how to make the best use of the CBD for medical dosage. More on that later.
The SCROG is going very well... not bad for a first attempt! I'm not super keen on CBD varieties... but my hubby get migraines, and I'm growing these for him.
So, I turned the lights off a couple of days in a row. This was a big mistake! LOL. So now she has balls. I'll have to see if she ends up with seeds. Maybe they will grow? Not sure how the genetics of herms work. Will do some reading.
These are looking done to me. Next up, I'll check out trichomes under the digital microscope. Looking like it will be a good yield. Better than my first try. Stay tuned!
Easy to grow. Good yield. Fast turnaround time :) I'm not actually sure if this plant is indica or sativa... it's CBD so.... that's hard to assess. I'll do some research.
I'll have to update once I have a dry weight. I'm hoping I won't lose too much weight. So far I usually see a 50% decrease once the humidity is out of the plant.
@Njanne, I have had those “balls”in all the cannabis I’ve ever had, from LPs to my own. I was told they are from leaving a tiny bit of the growth shoot when trimming fans and branches. I have also had them inside buds that I’ve pulled apart, kind of like a faulty calyx and never any seed material inside. I’ve had one hermie before and it looks very much like a banana, not like those. I am here to learn so if I’m wrong please let me know.
They still look awesome regardless!!
@Njanne, those buds look great. I am hoping mine can turn out that well. I haven’t grown an auto before, so if you have any tips, I’d love to hear them.
@Njanne, I am going to grow these outside in bigger pots and let them do their thing. Maybe stake or Scrog. Not 100% sure, still have 3 ft of snow and -15-20C, so I have some time to make that plan. Yours are looking awesome tho!!
@SAC87, Are you going to try screen of green? I am finding they grow really well this way. I accidentally topped my first go at this variety and it turned out fine, but way less yeild :)
