This could be a verry nice outcome of a crossing i've made between a feminized Dos si dos 33 [Deeppurple pheno] from Barney's farm and a regular Blue king lobsta [r] (m) #1 [Mr. Fantastic]. This is at the end of week 1 into the showing the sexes, day 19 after flipping the switch from 19 hours of light to the cold-turkey 12 hours of light.
I have a bit of yellowing early into the flowering, I guess I must upgrade my soil.
It is a sturdy plant with lots of bud-sites along the stem which displays a tremendous vigor.
I sprouted two seeds of Blue moon [r] only this one survived my ignorance. I have 71 Blue moon [r] beans left so I am doing this variety again soon..
I'm looking forward to flowering off this one.

This regular blue moon [r] (f) female gave me the exact same feeling i had when i was flowering of the feminized Dos si dos 33 [f] [Deeppurple pheno] from Barney's farm. At first i thought it would not be a that great of harvest with her small buds, even after week 2 of flowering i thought it would possible be the smallest harvest i've managed to grow yet. Only in the last weeks the buds swell up and turned into this stunning lime green deeppurple beauty wich gave me some excellent vape-ware. I took one clone from the Dos si dos 33 but it did not take and i did only one crossing with this plant, namely:
Blue moon [r] – CFTGL

[ Do-si-dos x Gelato #33]
60 % Indica / 40 % Sativa

[ Three blue kings [f] x Moose and lobsta [r] (m) #1 ]
The Blue moon is developing roughly like the Blue king lobsta female i grew earlier. Thick sturdy stems with plenty of thickend bud-sites. I've managed to brush pollinate the smallest of lower bud with pollen from my CriMnL [F2] #1 [Mr. Stinky] male in the hope I can pull out some 'Stealing the moon' [b] beans. I tend to pollinate another small bud with pollen collected from a Alpenglow [r] (m) #3 [Mr. Bendy] male which has this amazing smell in the hop eto collect some 'Moon over the Alps' [r] beans.
There's some yellowing, already in week two, I realy have to rejuvenate my soil. In the mean time I've been using a drop of BAC PK booster per liter of water.
Grow your own!
Either i messed up during pollination and unwillingly pollinated almost every bud site or the Blue moon is the most unstable variety i've made so far.
I am in the process of flowering off the Blue moon clone in order to see if there's some hermafrodyte issues i've been missing during the floweirng of the original Blue moon.
Coming up on end week 5 and the yellowing continues. The smell is just awesome.
Cheers
Well, I have not seen any hermaphrodite signs in the regular Blue moon [r] (f) #2 clone, which is almost at the end of week 1 into the visible flowering of the clone ( 3 weeks after light switch to 12/12 ). So I figured I have messed up big time this time around and subsequently pollinated the whole plant instead of just one Budd-site. Because I was working with two different males at the time I label these beans as Blue moon [S1] until proven otherwise with a note that I was working with a CriMnL [F2] (m) #1 [Mr. Stinky] for a crossing named, “Stealing the moon”, and a Alpenglow [r] (m) #3 [Mr. Bendy] males for a crossing named, “Moon over the alps”.
I am going to use the Blue moon [r] (f) #2 clone as reference for the growing of this crossing between a feminized Dos si dos #33 [f] and a regular Blue king lobsta [r] (m) #1 [Mr. Fantastic] male, instead of the Blue moon [r] (f) #2 original, because quite frankly: she is not a pretty site in the sense of growing sensimilla.
Coming upon the end of week 7 into the flowering of this accidently totally pollinated regular Blue moon [r] (f) #2, one can clearly see the effort she is making to ensure a healthy offspring, bean-wise so to speak.. All the nutrients go to making beans, instead of flowers / weed. She has, because of the pollination, a tremendous need for nitrogen. To much for my one size feeds all feeding regiment. I am using Biobizz products wich is a bit low in the values conserning the N-P-K, I am also re-using my growing medium and have not been upgrading my soil in a while.
The refference clone, Blue moon [r] (f) #2 K#1, is not showing any signs of unstability and I there for must asume I made a tremendous mess of things during the pollination of the originator of the clone. This, for me ,is the firat time I end up with a totally pollinated plant. I have to rethink my pollination procedure.
I am guessing a large amount of seeds are coming my way wich either could be regular “Stealing the moon” beans ( Blue moon x CriMnL [F2] (m) #1 [Mr. Stinky] ) or “Moon over the alps” beans ( Blue moon x Alpenglow [r] (m) #3 [Mr. Bendy] ). Not in the least the upcoming bean palooza also could be Blue moon [r] (f) #2 [S1] beans.
I was a bit worriesd that the Blue moon [r] regular crossing I'd made whas unstable but I'm not seeing any signs of this in the clone I am flowering off and which Is coming up-on week 2 into the flowering.
Happily grow your own.
At almost end week 8 into the flowering of this accidently totally pollinated regular Blue moon [r] (f) #2 I have decided to chop down this one accept for the bud i pollinated with pollen collected from a regular Alpenglow [r] (m) #3 male from Dynasty genetics. This budd carries the Moon over the alps [r] beans. They must have another week of ripening before there ready.
The Blue moon [r] (f) #2 K#1 clone is coming upon the end of week 2 into the flowering and is doing nicely. The smell is very floral, with a pinch of sourness and a specific dankness to it.
The original Blue moon [r] (f) #2 female has been chopped down and, because I accidentally pollinated the whole plant, gave me 284 beans witch either could be Blue moon [S1] or regular Stealing the moon [r] of regular Moon over the Alps [r] beans.
A dedicated pollination of two smaller branches gave me 7 regular Stealing the moon [r] beans and 58 regular Moon over the alps [r] beans for me to tinker with.
The Blue moon [r] (f) #2 K#1 clone is in the end of week 4.
Grow your own!
Coming upon week 6.5 into the flowering of this regular Blue moon clone she is turning out very nice. Fattening up a little bit, turning all nice and frosty. The smell is just out of this world.
I would guess another two or two and a half week
Blue moon [r] (f) - CFTGL
[Dos si dos 33 [f] - Barney's farm x Blue king lobsta [r] (m) - CFTGL]
grow your own!
The regular Blue moon [r] (f) #2 K#1 female clone did an excellent job with nice thick compact and dense flowers, an outstanding trichome production and a smell and taste that are very hard to describe. It has a certain sweet and sourness upon layers of exotic fruit and flowers, with a dash of road-kill. I harvested a bit early.
