Noticed plant 1 yellowing, I believe due to 6.5 ph water ( i added an edit to germination slide mentioning my new understanding of coco’s closer relationship to hydroponics than soil) as well as over watering (just found out that the seedlings mainly take in water through leaves until established roots are present) Plant 2 showing signs of yellowing as well. i’d assume same diagnosis as plant 1 so i’ll be taking same precautions. 08/22 i gave them 5ml of 5.8 ph water to try and get some proper ph’d water on the establishing roots as well as misted both plants domes with 5.8 ph water
Light on temp/rh : 72°-75° - 60-65% ( higher in domes )
Light off temp/rh: 68°-71° - 40-50% ( trying to get that Rh higher with lights off but the domes are keeping it higher on the plants so i’m fine with that for now, when they get older i’ll be shooting for higher rh with lights off)
VPD : .80-1.2kPa ( if i can get my damn humidifier to not false flag my tank empty when it’s full…. i could dial that in better might have to nut up and buy a new humidifier if the company can’t help me…)
RIP plant 1, I over loved her and we lost her today. She was progressively getting worse. Due to my over watering, poor climate control, and many other factors she damped off and shriveled up. So from here on out ill still label plant 2, plant 2 to create less confusion. I dropped another seed in but I wont be documenting her progress till probably flower just to let yall know how she ended up.
Water further out from the base of the plant, I water about 6 to 7 inches away from my seedlings. This will cause the plant to root out in search of water and this pays off well.
@@Ganjalox, I catch my self watering around the stem often lol, usually just 50ml or so around this time in veg then another 100ml-150ml few inches around the base to promote that root growth. Appreciate the insight!
