📆 Germination Week, 14-20 August 2024 14 Aug - Placed a 3 seeds in a cup of RO water, put in tent under light at 25% power, temp 74 degrees F, RH 60%. 17 Aug - 2 seeds cracked with roots. Placed in RootRiot cubes (see pics). 18 Aug - Seeds sprouted. 20 Aug - Placed sprout with main root appearing into temp DWC system. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow and the opportunity to participate in the autoflower competition! 📑 As a general statement, all seeds from a quality controlled company will be good, as long as your practices of sprouting are routine and time tested. You’ll have an occassional dude no matter what, but it is rare. This was my 3rd attempt at trying to successfully sprout this variety from Divine Seeds. The first attempt failed and I did write to tell them. They promptly delivered 2 additional packets of the same variety seeds (Auto Pablo Escobar) to me, and I specifically was not looking for this! Kudos to Divine Seeds Company! The second attempt only delivered a mutated seedling (it is pictured in the background, but destroyed now). This last attempt seems to have started off on the right track so far. In general, my experiences dealing with sprouting seeds in water; they must float, they must crack/show a root within 3 days or be moved into a damp paper towel for fear of drowning the seed. If the seed sinks right away, there is a great possibility that it is bad. I also use a regular light cycle, or 24 hours of light. Sprouting seeds in complete darkness 24hrs have always had unreliable results for me. The only problem I see with this batch of seeds, if you can consider it a problem, is the shell seems to be very translucent or thin. Perhaps the run wasn’t quite matured or cured correcly, or just simply outdated. In any case this is my transparent take on this particulare seed batch. 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🍽️ Root Riot starter cubes 🔆 DLI is 12-15 canopy coverage at 18hrs That is it for this week. 📆 Week 1, 21-27 August 2024 21-26 Aug - Observed and let the seedling grow. 27 Aug - Moved seedling to permanent DWC home. 📑 The Plan: To grow Auto Pablo Escobar within 101 days from seed to finish. My goal is to harvest no later than 23 November and make the cutoff date for Divine Seeds Autoflower contest. I’ll be using a new blend (for me) of Botanicare and Europonic nutrients, providing ideal environmental conditions be able to produce a matured quality product, that will grow to its full potential. The end of this week I moved the seedling to its permanent 2 gal DWC home. 🍶 21 Aug initial nutrient solution started 🍽️ 21 Aug first feeding schedule began 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 0.6 at 74 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 12 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 2, 28 August - 3 September 2024 28 Aug - 2 Sept - Observed and let the seedling grow. 3 Sept - Turned light power up to 50%. 📑 All is well with Pablo. She seems to be a bit compact in size right now, but that can change. It was time to turn the lights up to get a DLI canopy coverage of 30-35. 🍶 27 Aug nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 27 Aug feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.3 at 75 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 30-35 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 3, 4-10 September 2024 4 Sept - Cut a few leaves off to allow direct light on lower branches. 5-10 Sept - Observed and let the plant to grow. 📑 Pablo is developing branches and continuing to stay compact for now. She is showing a few pistils, however, I do not consider this to be the beginning of a flowering stage, more like a pre-flower (same as a 2 week transition in photo’s). She is far from forming any buds yet. In DWC, to start a flower time now and say it would be complete in 70-85 days as required by the developer, Divine Seeds, would more than likely end up in immature buds. In my honest opinion, there is little need to grow this plant if you do not let it mature. I’m just being realistic. Some growers will say don’t go by a time schedule, that is sort of true as well. Maturity is determined by 2 very different things, the grower and the plant. The growers knowledge, cultivating experience, and familiarity of variety differs greatly from one to another. The plants genetics and environmental conditions are factors that must be considered. Every seed is its own pheno type, the only way around this is by clones. There is a general time line for every strain or variety when you start looking at maturity. It is up to the grower to define the exact date this takes place. I’ll need to see many more pistils, especially in the top branches to consider this plant in flower. She hasn’t even started a stretch. It is hard to count the number of days in a buds life when the bud hasn’t started to form yet. 🍶 4 Sept nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 4 Sept feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.6 at 75 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 30-35 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 4, 11-17 September 2024 11-17 Sept - Observed and let the plant to grow. 📑 Another good week of growth for Pablo. She is still staying on the compact size so far. But has a long way to go as well. This week I just kept the big leaves off the new growth. A lot of new pistils have formed and I would consider her definitely in a pre-flowering state now. Next week will start her flower cycle. 🍶 11 Sept nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 11 Sept feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.9 at 69 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 30-35 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 5, 18-24 September 2024 18-24 Sept - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 Pablo is still staying on the compact size, but has started her flower cycle now. She has stretched some week. I keep cutting back the larger leaves to allow even light penetration as well as air circulation. The plant has now grown into a DLI zone of 35-40 canopy coverage without an increase of light power. 🍶 16 Sept nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 16 Sept feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 1.9 at 75 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 7, 2-8 October 2024 2-8 Oct - Observed and let the plant grow. 8 Oct - Defoliated plant. 📑 Pablo has never been quite the green color I’d hoped for using these nutrients. The larger leaves yellow much sooner than expected. Tweaking is slow but progressive. Defoliated plant this week. The bud growth seems to be on time, the smell is intensifying and sweet. Trichomes are developing as expected. 🍶 2 Oct nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 2 Oct feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.1 at 73 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 9, 16-22 October 2024 16 Oct - Increased light power to 75%, DLI 55-60 16-22 Oct - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I increased DLI to 55 canopy coverage to help with bud development. At this point, whatever damage caused by deficiencies she has experienced, due to the tweaking of nutrients is beyond repair. I believe the lack of nitrogen was the biggest mistake in this grow. But keeping it all Botanicare and adding extra nitrogen (only) is a challenge. The bud growth is on time and green, the smell is intensifying and sweet, and trichomes continue to develop as expected. But the older leaves continue to yellow much earlier than anticipated. 🍶 16 Oct nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 16 Oct feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.5 at 62 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 55 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 10, 23-29 October 2024 23-29 Oct - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 Leaf continue to yellow, and bud continue to grow green. This will probably be an early harvest, at least all signs point to it anyway. I’ll check the trichome maturity this coming week. Her smell is fantastic, sweet like candy, and she’s covered in large crystals. There has just been a missing ingredient in the Botanicare nutrients. Something that will take more research, and another grow or two to sort out. The end result is always determined by the smoke, hopefully she will produce something that is just as good as her smell. 🍶 23 Oct nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 23 Oct feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.6 at 67 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 55 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. 📆 Week 11, 30 October - 5 November 2024 30 Oct - 5 Nov - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 It’s come to the end of the line for Pablo. Harvest will be next week after a couple days of a fresh water flush. I have tried my own smoke of DWC buds that have not been flushed vs. the ones that have, there is enough difference in my opinion to continue with this practice. That is what I recommend, do what you like that taste best for you. 🍶 30 Oct nutrient solution changed 🍽️ 30 Oct feeding schedule updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient solution EC 2.7 at 66 degrees F 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 55 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Happy Harvest Day!

It was easy growing Auto Pablo Escobar. She stayed on the shorter, smaller side of autoflowers for this grow. Whether it be genetic or a nutrient's deficiency or combination of both, she just did not gain in size. Her buds however did grow rather large, full of crystals with the smell of sweet candy, but were on the larfy side in thickness.

📆 Week 12, 6-12 November 2024 6-7 Nov - Observed and let the plant grow. 8-10 Nov - Flushed plant with RO water. 11 Nov - Harvested plant. 12 Nov - Began curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for the sponsorship and opportunity to grow your genetics! 📑 I did a 3 day fresh water flush and harvested the plant. I have tried my own smoke of DWC plants that have not been flushed vs. the ones that have, there is enough difference in my opinion to continue with this practice. That is what I recommend, do what you like that taste best for you. I’ll cure the plant in a closet hanging by individual branches for about 10-12 days. The RH is 55% and the temp is a consistant 71 degrees F. I also have a small fan that circulates a light breeze around the buds during this process. Growing this plant was easy enough. She stayed on the small side of an autoflower. This could have been caused by genetics or my nutrient schedule, or a combination of both. I am not real happy with the way the plant responded to the nutrients I used, especially during the flower period. She seemed to have a nitrogen deficiency that I could not correct properly. A little more research, with trial and I’m sure the nutrients will be just fine. 🔥 The smoke report, 24 November. She took about 10 days to dry out enough to hand trim and jar up. Weighing in light at 3.2 ounces, it was not as solid as I wanted. But the smoke was very smooth and pleasant, no harshness at all. And the high starts with an immediate warm rush to your head that sharpens the senses. It burns with a very clean white ash, and a couple of tokes takes you to a nice comfortable high that will last a good hour or more before needing a boost. Overall a great smoke that will not put you on the couch. 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 75%, DLI 55 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow.
