PLCG, Nana Glue by Square One, and Strawberry Skrilla
I got these from a friend. I transplanted them immediately on getting them back to my tent. I was told that the Nana Glue is an authentic Square One Cut (right 2). The left clone is a Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato. I have grown clones from this friend before and they were absolutely fire.
By the third day I was given a good looking Strawberry Skrilla already rooted in a 2 gallon cloth pot from a friend. He had grown its mother from a seed that he had popped himself. The Strawberry Skrilla was bred by Compound Genetics.
I had inadvertently made a mistake with the three other clones. I believe they were transplanted by the friend I had gotten them from shortly before I transplanted them. The stress gave them a shock.
By the second week, the plants had grown a little bit but were yellowing on the leaves and curling. They seemed to be upset from the transplant. I also used well water when I transplanted them, which was a mistake. My water is hard and has high levels of sulphur/calcium. Seeing them like this made me commit a little more financially and commit to R.O.
I was doing feed-feed-tea-feed-feed water and making sure that the pots dried back well between waterings.
The plants were slow to uptake water and I was worried about the lack of deep green in the leaves. The PLCG and the NG just looked sad. The Skrilla began to make herself at home in the tent.
Next update comes from 2 days into flower. I gave them a lot of TLC to try to nurture them back to health. The leaves were yellowing very hard on the Nana Glue and the PLCG. The Strawberry Skrilla looked quite nice however.
I had also topped the front right plant, the Skrilla on the front left and one of the branches of the PLCR closest to the light.
By day 9 of flower, the girls had started to turn around, they looked quite nice and were drinking regularly. I had pushed dryback clipped yellowing leaves carefully.
New stem growth was green as was all new growth.
The strawberry started to smell lightly of sour candy.
Most. photos are from 4 weeks and 2 days flower. Day 30 flower. Seems like the frost explosion has slowed for now. Hopefully they will put on weight. Front right plant lagging behind. Is it rly Nana Glue? Lol.
Had a hot day and temp got to 84 for an hour before dropping to 82. Warmer then I would like, but we will see what they look like tomorrow.
Going well, have a small light burn on one of the Skrilla colas..sad, but must soldier on. Still very frosty. Colors are developing in the hair now and there is a noticeable change in each cultivar.
Nana Glue developing a red-brown hue and delicious Earthy, creamy terpenes. Skrilla is packing on weight and stacking, lowers are crowned in orange hair. Smells like Like Jolly-Ranchers.
PLCG is packing on some weight, all the buds are getting that spherical addition. Also, some of the frost on the leaves, termed 'frost rails' by a friend, have begun to turn a nice pink color.
Let's see where this grow goes this week. Maybe some color or weight.
The smell is very good. PLCG is like a scented highlighter, very lemon. 🍋
The Skrilla is like a sweet and sour candy, quite delicious.
Nana glue is Earthy and cream, very rich.
Aroma has declined. Or rather 'settled', is this because heat was an issue a few times, pH issues with medium (7.4) avg.. I do know where I have gone wrong... I added a few more nectar products and the pH dropped a bit before I readjusted it. I added a few more teaspoons of Olympus up and it says on the top of the soil, leaching into the 2 gal pots. I did a recharge yesterday and fed at 6.1....
Ppm was around 210 (avg) .. I will work on getting medium down.....
Aroma has come back up. Everything smells mouthwatering. The front right plant is not Nana Glue, I believe it is Chester the Cheetah by Beleaf, as I have grown that before and it smells similar and has a simar bud structure.
This front right plant smells like grapefruits and apricots.
The Skrilla (front left) smells like a whole mixture of terpenes ranging from a sort of licorice dankness x kush aroma. Very strong.
Nana Glue (back right) is a whole bunch of Earthy creaminess. I don't know how to explain it.
Platinum Lemon Cherry Gelato (back left) smells less of lemon now and more like sweet fresh tennis balls with a hint of lemon. 🍋
Everything taking on a new color, either from pH or from their age. Almost done, pushing through another week, then a other update.
Honestly have messed up some of the weeks, will redo them for more accuracy with conditions and nutrients and dates.... Happy toking.
Smells very nice. I believe that the pH from built up calcium from.the mistaken addition of their pH up product led to the crazy colors.. unfortunately, I have ultimately lost some yield, but the plants smell wild and I'm excited to try the fruits of my labor.
Front Right-Chester the Cheetah-smells like rich gas and skunk, very loud domination of skunk. Finishes with a slight tangerine or grapefruit.
Front left-Strawberry Skrilla-smells like sour candy, reminiscent of a sour warhead.
Back left-Lemon Platinum Cherry Gelato-that zaza. Reals like lemon and kush. Very sweet and rich.
Back right-maybe nana glue-very small nugs of earthy richness. It smells wonderful, yield looks like half of the others.
Cheers!!
**Added a few photos without the light on. Almost done!!
