We soaked all the seeds in a their own shot glasses of distilled water for 3hrs and popped them into root riot cubes but i noticed there was bugs crawling on our brand new cubes!(within an hr of planting)So i ripped them out of the plugs and washed them in distilled water and went the tried and true way of the paper towel, just sprinkled the tiniest bit of Great White Myco and all but 2(we started with 4x Dark Devil Auto seeds)popped within 24 hours, the remaining 2 will go to a close family member when they pop. They went straight into their final pots. About 3 parts Fox Farm Happy Frog, 1 part Mother Earth Coco+Peat, and 1/2 part pearlite with Great White Myco mixed in. They were watered with a spray bottle w/ distilled water and a clear dixie cup over the top held in place with skewers( will remove when they break the surface. Plan on feeding with Fox Farm trio for soil, molasses and thats it starting around week 3or4 depending how they are doing. Will keep you all posted! Cant wait, this is my first time growing both autos and outdoor!
On Day 7 they recoeved a very light dose of superthrive and molasses for root development and to feed the mycos. They are showing their third set pf leaves emerging amd im stoked!
Tied them down in day13, they responded great! Treated them with BT on day1: as well as i saw some caterpillars on my photoperiod outdoor plant. Moved into the shade on morning of Day14 and treated with neem oil/dr bronners foliar as i saw some bite marks on ine of the girls, will also treat with ceyennne pepper to keeps the mice away!
Been keeping them tied down to expose bid sites and fed them once with superthrive at 5drops per gallong and molasses at 1/2Tbs per gallong for the bennies and cal mag. Will start Fox Farm liquid trio at 28days. Sprayed with neem/bronnners and dusted diatomaceous earth and will be adding nematodes tomorrow upon arrival. Ohtdoor pest maintenance is a go!
I have only tied the tops down and kept them down when they pop back up. They are started on the fox farm feeding schedule for vegging plants along with molasses between feedings. Pest prevention is diatomaceous earth, neem oil, and nematodes.
Missed a few weeks as i was busy dealing with work, but these girls are on a mission to impress!!! I am very happy and impressed with FastBuds genetics. One of the Gorilla Cookies turned out to be a smooth single leaf mutant, it has become my favorite of the bunch(shhh, dont tell the other girls!) the three Gorilla Cookies are stacking some serious colas, followed closely by the Gelato, which has some odd bud structures but is beautiful in its own right. Sadly both Dark Devil seeds from Dr Seeds are Green Phenos, no color show here:( maybe next time, but i have more purple strains to try so we will see.
