DAY 71 - 10/25/24 - Messing with the fan values today, ended up just going back to old settings to keep humidity down. I did a lkt rotating and ticking and making sure light distance and water lines are all good. Light is about 12 inches from tops of tallest colas, 18 inches from tips of colas in the center of the tent, about 20-24 inches from the tops of the shortest colas. Water running great, plants optimally positioned. Temps a little warmer, around 74-75. All things are good. I can now see just how much the Back Right plant was hit by the week of res line issues. It is shorter, less expansive, colas are smaller, and there are less colas in general. Also the leaves are sickly yellow uptop. Down below there is beautiful green growth, reflecting my adjustments. It is small and sort of sickly, but still good. Still smokable. The finish line is in sight, I am only refilling the res 1-2 times before cake. I am so excited, it is getting hard to wait. The smell is so good, so strong. Like a funky cologne. I don't wear cologne, but I would wear this. Planning to start cake around day 78. Trichs are full, some milky, no amber. Nice temps, nice humidity, feed lines working. No complaints. Coco seems mostly right? Hard to get a correct read on all the pots within a consistent time frame. I added would should be the last bloom feed. A nice double batch Time and the plants will tell. About 6 gals of bloom feed left in the tank. About 2 days till I start running the Cake. Trichomes are nice and milky. No amber whatsoever. There are maybe 4 gals left in the feed res. I will prepare the cake concentrate tonight. The plants are loving life, the trichs are dense and milky white, there’s about 2 gals left in the feed tank as of this morning. I will start the Cake feed either tonight or tomorrow. It is officially Picture Day/Season, so expect higher than normal temps. I will try to keep it all under 78. The cold temps outside and inside the house will help with this. With about a week to go on the official clock, it is officially Cake Flush season! Right now I’m planning on flushing for two weeks, we will see if I need more or less as the plants develop.
