Drimmsler All older seeds that I got as bonus seeds. The AK 47 is regular - exciting. A Sativa Dream has a strange mutation. One AK 47 has brown spots on the first leaf pair. The plan is to select 4 plants and put them in 19-liter fabric pots on 120x120. Here we go :)

Drimmsler On days 10 and 11, I put 6 out of 8 plants into their final pots. Currently, there are still 6 plants since the AKs are regular. I ultimately want 4 plants. If both AKs turn out to be male, I still have 4 feminized plants. However, my wish would be for 2 female AKs since I'm feeling more into old school right now. I hope the sex shows up during pre-flowering so that I can take out two as early as possible to give the others more space. Otherwise, I'm planning to use the Blumat for the first time. The days are still hot. Outdoor temperatures of over 30 degrees have also been noticeable in the tent. VPD is in the danger zone. But: it's still growing :)

Drimmsler Using Blumat drip irrigation for the first time on 3 plants. After the next watering, the front row of plants will also be equipped with Blumats. Then it's just a matter of waiting until all the plants can be topped and trained. The hot days are now over, and the climate in the tent should normalize in the coming days.

Drimmsler It's growing and thriving so far. Everything is very exciting: first time using drip irrigation, first time with living soil, first time topping, and if all goes well, mainlining to 8 colas. Actually, I discovered little crawling critters on the surface yesterday. Not fungus gnats. I hope they are "good creatures" that take care of my living soil. I'm trying to make cuttings from the AKs to find out the sex before the space for 6 plants gets too small. The goal is still 4 plants. It would be great if at least one of the regular AKs turned out to be female. I'm not sure what I'll do if I can't determine the sex early on :)

Drimmsler The final 4 plants are in place. So far, the Living Soul is doing well. I'm curious to see if it will hold up in the 19L pots until the end or if top dressing will be necessary. Left after the selection are now a Purple Kush (back right), an AK47 (front left), and two Sativa Dreams (back left and front right). Overall, it confirms that the Sativa Dreams are less suitable for mainlining as they grow extremely bushy. About the plants individually: The AK47 is growing well. However, the stems of the branches seem rather thin to me. Nutritionally, it seems to be at the upper limit with yellow leaf tips. The Purple Kush is a monster. The Sativa Dream in the corner is strong and healthy. But all side branches are growing very slowly - strain-related. The Sativa Dream at the bottom right is special. It is a triploid. I struggled for a long time about whether to keep it, but it is growing significantly faster than its counterparts. And the thought of getting 12 colas from 3 side branches is tempting. However, I did make a cut along the way. So now there are 9 branches - no big deal :)

Drimmsler I added vinasse again before starting the flowering stage. In a few days, there will be a topdress that I want to water in with compost tea. Everything else is going well. The node spacing is getting bigger. I'm curious to see how the Sativa dreams will stretch compared to the other two and whether that will go well, or if the Sativa dreams will end up in the dark at some point.
