First Growreport: 2x Black Jack (Sweed Seeds) & 4x Gotti Belts (Biscotti. x Rainbow Belts 2.0) Indoor

phelice 4X Gotti Belts (cross of Biscotti x Rainbow Belts 2.0) and 2 x Black Jack (from Sweet Seeds) After the cuttings had been in the mini greenhouse for 14 days and all Jiffys had rooted, they were planted directly into 7l pots with BioBizz LightMix and an approx. 2-3cm layer of Seramis on the bottom of the pot. The little ones are illuminated with a HortiOne600 LED (220W), which is dimmed to 50% and hangs at a distance of approx. 70cm. The output will be gradually increased over the next few days in order to cause as little stress as possible after repotting. Water is available with Ph correction and a Ph between 6 - 6.5. Every second watering, add about half a portion of the recommended amount of Hesi Root Complex with Hesi SuperVit. From day five we started with LST to generate as many main shoots as possible. phelice Hello dear Growmunity, This week LST continued and a little defoliation was carried out in order to stimulate growth in the desired shoots and also to control the number of main shoots. Immediately after the defoliation, the lamp was dimmed slightly again for a day to reduce stress. I try to divide the Black Jack into 2 main shoots, while the Gotti Belts should have 4 main shoots. The desired goal of this (apart from more headbuds 😀) is that the stretch should be relatively even in the first few weeks of flowering and that the growth in size should be as homogeneous as possible during growth. The Black Jack grows with relatively narrow internode spacing, while the Gotti Belts tends to do the opposite. Slowly, with a little help (moving the wire and removing the leaves), the little ones are finally taking on the shape they want Otherwise, unfortunately the little ones have to struggle a bit with the heat, as it's quite warm at the moment and I'm growing in an attic (which isn't very well insulated 😒).. and more like running fans and vents 24/7 is currently not possible. In order to achieve a better VPD value, I tried to increase the humidity a little by using a wet towel in the grow room. I hope that in 2 weeks at the latest there will be enough biomass so that the RLF stays in the green area without hanging up a wet towel every day. Otherwise, I wish all other growers good luck with growing, a big harvest and even more fun tasting it😎... see you next week, Peaz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Deutsch* Hallo liebe Growmunity, in dieser Woche wurde weiterhin LST betrieben und zusätzlich ein wenig entlaubt, um einerseits den Wuchs in den gewünschten Trieben anzuregen und dabei ebenso die Anzahl der Haupttriebe zu kontrollieren. Direkt nach dem Entlauben wurde die Lampe nochmals für einen Tag leicht gedimmt um den Stress zu reduzieren. Die Black Jack versuche ich in 2 Haupttriebe zu unterteilen, während die Gotti Belts 4 Haupttriebe bekommen soll. Erwünschtes Ziel hiervon (abgesehen von mehr Headbuds 😀) ist, dass der Stretch in den ersten Blütewochen relativ gleichmäßig verlaufen soll und bereits im Wuchs ein möglichst homogenes Größenwachstum stattfinden soll. Die Black Jack wächst mit relativ engen Abständen der Internodien, während die Gotti Belts eher zum Gegenteil neigt. So langsam nehmen die Kleinen auch mit ein wenig nachhelfen (Draht umsetzen und Entlauben) endlich meine gewünschte Form an Ansonsten müssen die Kleinen leider etwas mit Hitze kämpfen, da es momentan recht warn ist und ich in einem Dachgeschoss anbaue (was nicht sehr gut gedämmt ist 😒).. und mehr wie Lüfter und Venti 24/7 laufen lassen aktuell nicht möglich ist. Um einen besseren VPD-Wert zu erreichen, habe ich jetzt noch mittels eines nassen Handtuchs im Growroom versucht die Luftfeuchtigkeit ein wenig zu erhöhen. Ich hoffe in spätestens 2 Wochen ist genug Biomasse vorhanden, damit die RLF auch ,ohne jeden Tag ein nassen Handtuch aufzuhängen, im grünen Bereich bleibt. Ansonsten wünsche ich allen anderen Growern viel Erfolg beim Growen, eine dicke Ernte und noch mehr Spass beim verköstigen 😎... bis nächste Woche, Peaz

phelice Welcome to week three in the vegetative stage. The plants have grown well and are slowly starting to fill the space a bit :)... Unfortunately at the beginning of the week it got a little too warm in my box (with peaks slightly over 30 degrees). I tried again to create a little more RLF with a wet towel so that the high temperatures don't cause too much stress. Unfortunately it's not quite as effective as hoped, but that's probably because the fan vacuums the room too quickly. From now on the temperatures outside should go down a bit and the problem with the heat should finally be over. I also suspect that the slightly curled leaves of the Gotti Belts (see the pictures from Day 20) are related to the temperature being too high and the RLF being too low. Also a bit strange that both Black Jacks simply formed a solar sail with a single leaf finger from a certain internode (see pictures from Day 20). But nevertheless, both varieties are developing very well. On the last day of this week I defoliated the lower part of the plants a little. would like to let them continue to grow until they are all around 40cm tall and then finally start flowering, so that the exciting part finally begins.😎 Much love and peaz out ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *deutsch* Wilkommen zu Woche drei im vegetativen Stadium. Die Pflanzen sind gut gewachsen und beginnen langsam etwas den Raum zu füllen :)... Leider wurde es Anfang der Woche mal wieder etwas zu warm in meiner Box (mit Spitzenwerten leicht über 30 grad). Ich habe wieder versucht mit einem nassen Handtuch ein wenig mehr RLF zu erzeugen, damit die hohen Temperaturen nicht zu viel Stress verursachen. Ist leider nicht ganz so effektiv wie erhofft, liegt aber vermutlich auch daran, dass der Lüfter zu schnell den Raum leer saugt. Ab jetzt sollten die Temperaturen draußen etwas runtergehen und das Problem mit der Hitze endlich beendet sein. Ich vermute auch die leicht gekräuselten Blätter der Gotti Belts (siehe Bilder Day 20) hängen mit der zu hohen Temp. in Kombi mit zu niedriger RLF zusammen. Ebenfalls etwas komisch, dass beide Black Jacks ab einer gewissen Internodie einfach ein Sonnensegel mit einem einzigen Blattfinger gebildet haben (siehe Bilder Day 20). Aber nichts desto trotz entwickeln sich beide Sorten ganz prächtig. Ich habe am letzten Tag dieser Woche noch ein wenig im unteren Teil der Pflanzen entlaubt. Ansonsten möchte ich Sie weiter wachsen lassen bis Sie alle um die 40cm groß sind und dann endlich in die Blüte übergehen damit der spannende Part beginnt😎 Much love and peaz out

phelice Hello dear growmunity, not too much happened in week three. Growth was rather slow (I think there were a few dry spots in the soil because too little was watered). Well, the ladies are now staying in the vegi for another week and will hopefully have enough height to switch to flowering next week. until next week, peaz

phelice Hello Growmunity, this week is this week was rather modest, the plants grow like in slow motion. I would have to go into bloom at the latest, because I had planned to grow the small pots a maximum of 4-5 weeks. here I would have managed so far without growing fertilizer with the pot size and would only have fertilized with flowering fertilizer from bloom if needed. instead I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiency since the end of the 4th week. I have now since the beginning of the week added 0.8ml per liter of water with biobizz cal/mag and hope that it will help, otherwise there is not much left of the gotti :-(.... the Black Jack now also shows some small spots, but hopefully the cal/mag works even before she gets the same. I may need to add hesi growth fertilizer (tnt-complex) a little, because the plant has also become a little lighter in the whole, which I do not like. Best Regards, Peaz

phelice hello dear growmunity, Unfortunately, the plants still don't grow to the level I know. Since the end of week 4 and the beginning of the calcium and magnesium deficiency, pretty much all the big leaves of the Gotti's have been slowly dying off :'(... I now have both Biobizz Cal/Mag 0.8ml per liter and 0.8ml greenbuzz grow per liter of water I tried to counteract it a little bit, but I still didn't reach the desired goal. Today I also took a closer look at the roots of a plant by carefully removing them from the pot (but everything looks good here). I'll probably start flowering next week, albeit with a heavy heart given the current ailments of the plants, but I'm currently already 2 weeks past the normal planned date for the light change. best regards, and happy growing :-)

phelice hey dear growmunity, the ladies look almost the same... I would say it hasn't gotten significantly better or worse. Many of the large sun sails have already said goodbye and in the lower and middle parts you can see what is growing. normal. Since I'm already 3 weeks into the switch to 12/12, I've made the switch now out of necessity (although I'm also aware that a good growth phase is ultimately the preparatory work for a good flowering phase). It will just be checked off as an experience and will hopefully run better the next time around. Maybe the ladies will catch their breath again... as we all know, hope dies last :-)

phelice hey growmunity, first week of flowering is over. Unfortunately, the women are still not growing as desired. Unfortunately, the Gotti Belts show little to no signs of bloom and the Black Jack shows only very little, but at least noticeable. I hope the ladies will recover a little as the flowering progresses. At the end of the week a little hesi bloom complex was watered for the first time.

phelice Hello dear Growmunity, The flower is slowly becoming visible, although as expected it is rather small and sickly :-(... let's see what happens in the next few weeks of flowering. At the end of the flowering, or as soon as it becomes a little more attractive, more will follow (and especially better) pictures.

phelice Hello dear Growmunity, Unfortunately, there is still no big change. I would say that they have at least caught on a little, even if a large part of the leaves have now fallen away (harvesting will probably happen very quickly, as there shouldn't be much left by then). It's now very airy around the plants and it will probably be the smallest harvest I've had to date :-(... but maybe all the stress will at least stimulate trichrome production a little and there will at least be strong ones (albeit small ones) buds out :-)... best regards

phelice hello dear growmunity, The plants still look a bit miserable, but that won't change suddenly and the grow will continue, albeit with a small (but hopefully nice) yield. Starting this week, hesi phosphorus+ was slowly added to the watering water and the buds are slowly starting to form and smell something. However, I am very hesitant with fertilizing here, as the plants themselves are already very weak :-(.. best regards

phelice Good day dear growmunity, Week 5 would then be done and the buds are slowly taking on the desired shape and smell :).. Both should be ready to harvest after 8-9 weeks, I’m curious to see if the date works out, but it would be a good time to harvest on St. Nicholas Day. Kind regards, see you next week ;-)

phelice hello dear growmunity, The plants are now becoming more and more beautiful week after week and smell more and more extreme, which also increases the anticipation :)... I guess in 2-3 weeks the ladies should be ripe and beheaded. This week they will be watered again with the addition of fertilizer and from then on only with water so that they can use up the last reserves and there are no more residues in the final product. phelice Hello dear Growmunity, The ladies are busy ripening and should be ready for harvest within the next 1-2 weeks. Since the end of last week, only water has been poured so that the last fertilizer residues and nutrients still in the plant are used up and the flower has an unadulterated taste. The scent is already very present and tempting (despite the small amount :)... Es wird seit Ende vergangener Woche nur noch mit Wasser gegossen, damit die letzten Düngerrückstände und Nährstoffe die noch in der Pflanze sind, aufgebraucht werden und die Blüte einen unverfälschten Geschmack erhält. Der Duft ist bereits jetzt schon sehr präsent und verlockend (trotz der geringen Menge :)... Die Trichrome sind mittlerweile auch überwiegend milchig und die ersten dürften in den nächsten 7-14 Tagen anfangen in bernstein überzugehen und sobald dies bei 1/4 - 1/3 der Fall ist, wird geerntet. phelice Hello dear Growmunity, This will probably be the last week until the beheading finally takes place. The ladies are busy producing trichomes and also spreading the corresponding smell :-)... Since they are currently only watering with water, you can also tell that the ladies have arrived in autumn. Close-ups with a magnifying glass follow over the next few days, and then the tent is darkened again for two days before harvesting. Best regards, peaze

phelice hello dear growmunity, Soo, the last week is done. From the end of the 9th week I left the ladies in the dark for another 48 hours before harvesting. Attached are a few slightly better pictures from the middle of the 9th week, as well as close-ups of the trichrome. Many greetings and a wonderful Christmas time :)

The flowers were also manicured directly, as I prefer to cut the fresh buds rather than dry ones. They were then packed into boxes through which I stretched lines. The result is satisfactory, as the amount is unfortunately very manageable at around 9g per plant. The scent is absolutely fantastic and the quality of the flowers is also very good, although unfortunately there are no really fat buds. It was dried in the growing room at 13-15 degrees Celsius, which definitely ensured that the terpenes and aroma were preserved. After drying for 5 days, they were then packed into preserving jars for fermentation. These are ventilated briefly every day so that the last remaining moisture can escape slowly and evenly and the buds can harden nicely.
