GODAXE Can we grow strongly and productive plant from auto strain clone?
According to most breeder web site we cant or it not worst it.
https://2fast4buds.com/news/Can-I-Make-Clones-from-Autoflowering-Plants
https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-is-it-possible-to-clone-autoflowering-varieties-of-cannabis-n675
https://dutch-passion.com/en/blog/can-you-clone-autoflower-cannabis-plants-n1185
even here in GD blog the same statement
https://growdiaries.com/journal/can-you-clone-autoflowers
But some web content introduce the posibility to achieve a great yield from auto clone.
link will be add.
The idea come after i chose to try rooting some pruned stem instead throw them in the leaf bin, and i have to says that they are looking good.

But is it due to specifique genetique caracter from the mother plant. That what we will looking for.
For this chalenge we will use the mother plant from the below diary as reference.
https://growdiaries.com/diaries/219371-fastberry-auto-blackberry-auto-grow-journal-by-godaxe
They will get the same GREENLEAF NUTRIENTS, in the same ratio, at a ppm level according to their growing stage.
we will have to keep in mind that some growing condition arent the same:
the 2 mother plan are growing outside in a DWC setup, whitout any specific training.
our chalenger will grow in coco/peat/perlite medium under the AGLEX M1000
they will also share the 5x5 tent with 8 glueberry clone in a kind of SoG
Feel free to comment, or making sugest.

THE MEDIUM
40% coco coir,
40% peat moss,
20% perlite,
the medium have been pre humidified with a PH 5.8 solution at 300ppm of MEGACROP and SWEET CANDY, from GREENLEAF NUTRIENTS, at a ratio of 5 for 1.
THE BLACBERRY CUT
The 4 cut came from the same Blacberry plant at D7 from flowering. Their was the 1st sub nod set from the 1st bottom nod branch (2 from each side). They didnt show any flowering sign.
THE FASTBERRY CUT
The fastberry plant show asymetric grow since seedling, only one of the 2 sprout on each nod is growing, in a alternative patern .(did the clone wiil grows the sames way) so we only have 2 cut, 1 is the ungrowing branch from the 1st nod, the second is the 1st growing subnode of the 1st node growing branch. Don'tknow if its clear, let me know.
THE CLONE
As usually they have been cut with sterile scissor at 45°, scissor have been clean with 90% alcool between the plants.
the rooting nod have been litly scratch with the scissor before be diped in CYCLONE ROOTING GEL. set in 5oz plastic cup filled whit the grow medium than soaked with 90 ml of solution made of 1,5ml/L of CYCLONE ROOTING GEL and disitilled water. Caped with a litly srayed, no vent, clear plastic cup, set in the tent at night.
week 1
The clone recieved 180 ppfd at top of humidity dome witch is almost foggy. ( can t tell what is the exact ppfd under the dome) The humidity dome have been removed few second and set back once a day to ensure aire exchange.

25.08.2024 D7 from cutting
D7 i can says that the clone have succesly rooted by the resistance felt while litely try tu pull them, they also show new grow tips. The old leaf start to show some humidity damage as i didnt open the humidity dome the past 2 day. ( explain will folow) time to let them breath, the sealed humity dome have been discard.
27.08.2024 D9 from cutting
the clone have been watered with 30 ml of distilled water as the medium have been amended with some nutrient prior the grow.
As anticipated the old damaged leaf suffer from the humidity shock, exactly what we are looking for, as we need to get rip of them as quick as possible to ensure a nice vegetative phase. in the other hand the new grow leaf are now closed to open.
still no sign of any root under the medium cup, what is just perfect as we dont want them to reach the pot edge, they will be repoted in theire final 3 gal fabric pot in one or two day.
(still looking to retrive the scintific article about the flowering hormone, i hope you know that its not simply the lighting time that trigered the flowering of you photoperiod plant but a causal effect)

the clone have being repoted in their final 3gal pot of 40% coco, 40% peat, 20% perlite, all weight balance to 2.7kg
all the old damage leaf have been removed.
they all get watered with 1.5ml of clyclone rooting gel diluated in 250ml of distiled water.
they also get, from the bottom 500ml of Ph 5.8 declorinated water, to ensured a nice hudity level in the soil.
they hit the tent with a green( as suggest by a friend from McGill university) vented plastic cone, prevent soil over drying from the air circulation.
