Black Muffin F1

Here we enter in week 1 of vegetation 😊 09/10/24 : a bit early but i wanted to try to transplant, it is a success! the roots were not as present as the other time i transplanted other girls, but given how well this lady is doing i wanted to risk it and after waiting for her small cup to dry from the last watering i've successfull transplanted her to the final pot, in a time record from seed (for me).

09/16/24, starts of week 2 veg. muffin fits her as name because she is short and really fat. SInce she is doing so well, and has developed 5 nodes, she is ready for being topped. To to this you just wait until she has 5 or 6 nodes, then cut immediately above the 2nd node, without counting the cotiledons as a node.

Week 3 vegetation

09/30/24 she is chubby and doing great on a half dose ferts 02/10/24 as the moisture meter shows , she needs wter today, wich is only 2 days after last watering. this tell me is almost ready, and the roots are almost fully formed. She drank almost 6 liter wich is what i consider the cap to a 3 gallon fabric bag. For this watering i gave B52 to stimulate roots, togheter with the normal feed, the last bit it needs. Since she is doing so well i think i will not wait 6 week in veg but rather will start flowering sooner likely at week 5, or when i reach the goal of 6 liters per watering ( i count the liter she drank by noticing at what liter the run off happens)

10/07/24 marks the start of the flowering phase, and the light schedule will be 12/12 from now on ill harvest. she has very huge trunk, probably due to the fact that i've filled the pot well with soil, this time (i've managed to put more soil in the fabric bag to fill all the voids and it seems to have benefit the plant), and also because she is really vigorous (shout out to Sweet Seeds and to my headshop friend who suggested and sold this strain to me). Or maybe is that i've used the b 52 product by advanced nutrients during veg . Or it coulb be a mix of all three combined. Anyway it's a pleasure to grow like this!

Had a minor setback when i had to delay one watering for a few hours, because i inadvertitly left both sets of grow light on, so that when i got back home to water the plant was all droopy in the lower part, after restoring the temps and the light to the correct level, and giving water, the plant recovered. This happened about 3 days prior to the picture you see there. I would say the plant suffered a little but nothing exceptional, she lost a few leaves and had a delay on the next watering because she drank a little less. As you can see by the pictures she recovered, also she is very tall and the stretch is not over yet, i'm counting on making the colas shoot over the grow light somehow because i know she is going to touch the ceiling (the lamp) in a few days _________________________________________ UPDATE _________________________________________ 16/10/24 like i expected she hit the ceiling, what i did fucked up was not looking her in time, i left her a day touching the ceiling and one of the main cola is all burnt from light 😭, and an other cola a little less but as well😥. I did tucked the colas to th sides of the tento to prevent the colas from hitting the ceiling and instead go to the side of the grow lamps.

THIS IS CRAZY! THIS IS MADNESS! LOOK HOW BIG SHE IS! ----------------------- UPDATE 26/10/24 SHE HIT THE CEILING I HOPE SHE STOPS THIS WEEK with the flowering streching, because i have no more room, i even removed the pot holder to gain a inch or two (wich i would have preferred leaving to make the pot breathe underneat, since the holder had holes) but...hey....! ---------------------- Update 26/10/24 i set up a upper lamp. why you ask? because i noticed the plant was getting stress and not drinking porperly (it could also be due to lowering of the temps but going from 2 to 4 days watering based on my moisture meter reading) so i though maybe is because of apical dominance so i put a light just to keep that apical dominance hoping for the plant to stop being confused. thats based on the look of the top colas that were looking sick not receving light. let's cross finger because this lamp get hot, i've set up a pc fan on top of it to see if it can hold without burning the tent down 😅

She doin allright, was considering hitting her with some bloom food but i'm not sure because every time i did i fucked up.

11/04/24 This grow is not going as i expected but mainly to my limitation, height is too much and it has been rough. I didn't expect her to be so spindy, as in the site is advertised as indica dominant. I was about to use Big Buds by Advanced nutrients, but on the label it says week 2 to 4 bloom, so i just used the regular one (ph perfect bloom micro veg). The plant went from 2 to 4 days between watering , due to cooling of temps and also due to the fact i had to remove the pot holder, who was a source of fresh air to the bottom, so i placed some wooden sticks (sushi sticks) in hope to make it get more air unerneat the pot. Next time i plan to top two times in order to get a better even canopy, since i love to veg for longer weeks. i plan to do it on an other black muffin since i got 3 more seeds of it, also i am considering changing grow tent, but idk if it is worth it once i learn the right way to top 2 times, we will see!

This grow is an example of how important is to check your veg time to make sure it doesn't shoot over the lights and over the roof really, overall is good tho. Also i ditched advanced nutrients for a new brand, since advanced nutrients are just costly stickers imho. 11/16/24 bought a new fert , that will not only last me 10 times with a fraction of cost, also it's much easier then mixing 24 different bottles , also all the liquid ferts tends to cristallize so i don't even know if the fert i've applyied in the past (advanced nutrients perfect ph micro-grow-bloom) was all bioavailable (probably not) since the buds looks already bigger after 1 application. Also Ferty 1 Geo has also molybdenum among the microelements wich was not present on advanced nutrients. cheers!

week 8 flowering

12/06/24 day 61 flowering day 96 total Had to buy weed because she was not ready at week 7 (suggested time). Weed i bought doesn't keep up with my own, as the saying goes, "my weed tastes always better" and is true. The weed i bought is surely old and it disgust me (placed it under ozone for some minutes because it disgusted me)I can't have weed that i don't know where or how is grown. Now i'm left with some of this bought weed and gonna use it hopefully untill the new one is already dry. Gonna cut her asap. You gonna see the update here asap, planning on weighting wet and dry to have a better view of the result (i usually never weight it at the end because it's time consuming and i don't wanna move buds too much but i'm thinking of doing it this time. Black muffin by Sweet Seed is by far the strongest strain i've grown (tropicanna poison by Sweet Seeds is also very potent in my experience, but black muffin goes more into the head wich i like.) It is very strong both in sativa effect and indica effect.
