Given the opportunity to grow some of the most exciting and exotic strains, what would you do? Well I jumped at the chance when Patricia @Zamnesia reached out to me. Now that they are shipping to USA and Canada I can enjoy some of the same flavorful and power packed strains grown by my friends. This grow for me is one of 2 sponsored by @Zamnesia Seeds. I am growing Frosted Guava Auto and Sunset Sherbet Auto (separate diary). Below I share with you one amazing strain I selected. I'm eager to grow Frosted Guava as it is heady daytime strain, and has an extremely tropical, combining hints of guava, melon, mango, and citrus aroma with subtle fuel undertones. I will be using organic soil amendments and organic fertilizer. Happy Frog Amended with earth worm castings, dolomite lime powder, perlite, Elm Dirt Ancient soil. When it phases to flower, I'll top dress with bloom soil also from Elm Dirt. Liquid formulations may also be used. Thank you Patricia for this opportunity. Natrona FROSTED GUAVA AUTOMATIC (ZAMNESIA SEEDS) FEMINIZED Looking for an auto with great aromas, plenty of potency, and solid American genetics? Then look no further. Zamnesia's Frosted Guava Automatic delivers exceptional yields, a complex tropical fruit aroma, and a robust potency that's perfect for enthusiasts. ZAMNESIA SEEDS - FROSTED GUAVA AUTOMATIC: A TROPICAL AUTO POWERBOMB A fierce hybrid of Guava and Frosted Skywalker, Frosted Guava Automatic is a testament to the capabilities of auto-flowering plants. Not only does it produce heavy yields, but the aroma and robustness of its buds will satisfy even the most discerning of connoisseurs. Frosted Guava Automatic was conceived on the West Coast of the USA. Its first parent, Guava, is a sativa-leaning Gelato phenotype bred and stabilized by Cookies Fam in San Francisco. To Frosted Guava Automatic, Guava contributes a creative cerebral quality and delicious tropical fruit aromas. Meanwhile, its second parent, Frosted Skywalker, contributes strong growth traits, fast flowering times, subtle fuel/gas aromas, and a sense of relaxation. The first place Frosted Guava Automatic will impress you is in the grow room. Once germinated and past the seedling stage, these plants demonstrate vigorous growth. Within just a few weeks, you should see them develop several nodes and lush, green foliage. While its exact height can vary slightly, Frosted Guava Automatic typically grows to about 28 inches, and its entire vegetative stage lasts about 3–4 weeks. To minimize stress on these fast-growing plants, avoid training, trimming, or pruning. Also, pay close attention to your watering routine and feeding schedule to avoid over or under doing it. During bloom, Frosted Guava Automatic quickly develops an abundance of plump flowers. Use a combination of good fertilizer and molasses to help thicken its buds and boost trichome production. Come the third week of bloom, we recommend starting your flush and using a magnifying glass to check on your trichomes every few days to harvest at the perfect time. The total grow cycle for this strain is roughly 75 days from seed to harvest, and its yields are impressive, with about 1.5–1.6 oz/ft² indoors and 2–3.5 oz per plant outdoors. Come harvest time, Frosted Guava Automatic will reward you with thick buds covered in a frosty layer of trichomes. The aroma of this strain is extremely tropical, combining hints of guava, melon, mango, and citrus with subtle fuel undertones. With a robust potency, Frosted Guava Automatic is admired for its quality. When enjoyed responsibly, it's a favorite for its unique characteristics. Frosted Guava#2. Welcome to my Frosted Guava Automatic diary 9/12 Frosted Guava popped soil👍 Originally Frosted Guava#1 germinated soil on 8/30. By day 3 on 9/1 she was showing faint green color in true leafs. I'm only giving water ph 6.5. I had the seedling in a 4in pot in seed starting medium after germinating in paper towel. On 9/3 day-5,once I saw distress in the first true leaves, I suspected ph issues with the seed start medium so I transplanted to happy frog amended soil. (Sunset Sherbet also showing issues 9-4 day 6 no change in growth but leaves are shrinking 9-5 day 7 damage on first leaves is using itself up. And the growth point looks burned. No pics shown. 👉I took out the seed pack from the fridge and let it get to room temperature for 2 days then started a new seed and replaced FG#1. 👉Frosted Guava #2 will be the chosen one for this diary. All pics are of Frosted Guava #2. 👉Seeds Sponsored by Zamnesia Thanks for stopping by, your comments and likes are always appreciated. Natrona💫

FROSTED GUAVA 9/13-21 The transition to my new grow has been chaos. After reading the events of the last week you too will shake your head in disbelief, but honestly friends you can’t make this stuff up. After germination on 8/30 Sunset was transplanted to her final 3-gallon pot on 9/3 because her early true leaves were brown on the ends which I attribute to the ph of the seed medium. I also cleaned and disinfected the AC Infinity 4X4 for this new grow. The Frosted Guava that germinated on the same day did not make the transition. I started her replacement seed on 9/8 followed by germination on 9/12. The babies are starting in the 3x3. Meanwhile, new fans arrived from AC infinity to replace the fans that weren’t working correctly. One fan made clicks when it rotated and the other did not rotate at all. These new models needed a different splitter than what I was using. Ordered that, now wait for the splitter. A splitter from Amazon arrived quickly and I moved the new gals into the 4x4 tent. Since I’m using controller 69, I set the program to seedlings which has high VPD. The following morning, moisture vapor was seeping out of the tent through the zipper as well as the controller port. It was basically raining in the tent with about 1.5 gallons of was on the floor. Clean up on aisle 2. While I was mopping the tent, the lights were flickering on and off. I just knew the electronics were fried. I reported the situation to AC Infinity. Working through each step determined that the lights were not impaired by the moisture. With each step, areas that could have been the issue were eliminated. Aha..The vent motor was burned out. They are sending a replacement. (note: AC Infinity is very responsive and at no charge to me, replaces malfunctioning equipment). My babies are back in the 3x3 until the new vent arrives. But wait! There’s more! While all the issues with the 4x4 were going on Sunset Sherbet and Frosted Guava were in the 3X3. The day after Frosted Guava germinated soil, I opened the tent only to find hundreds of bugs on the floor clustered in corners and in puddles (drippings from wet towel). I took the pots outside and flushed them with about 3 gallons of well water. Sprayed the tent with diluted vinegar water, wiped up the bugs then wiped the floors, and walls with alcohol and put the gals back in the 3x3 tent. Wait it’s not over yet. 9/17 open the tent with more bugs on the floor. That did it. Another transplant for both gals into new Happy Frog soil without any amendments. I put a humidifier in the tent until I move them to the 4x4. Autoflower plants do not like transplanting so I hope they have not suffered. To help alleviate stress, I provided a light feed with Plant juice. 2 TBSP /gal plant Juice Ph to 6.62 PPM 470 Water temp 70 Pics taken 9/18, 9/20 and 9/21. 9/22-28 After last week's fiasco with bugs which necessitated transplanting both Frosted Guave and Sunset Sherbet in my Zamnesia garden, Frosted Guava has transitioned well. I've only been giving ph water at 100-200mls. Every 2 days. 9/23 I added a small humidifier to the tent and raised the pots on crates to allow air flow around the entire pot. This will also increase watering demands but I was planning on gradually increasing to 1 ltr every other day. I'm using a hygrometer to monitor the tent environment as this is a manual process. FROSTED GUAVA Sponsored by **Zamnesia ** Week 4 9/29-10.5 This week I’ve watered with ph 6.2-6.5 a with ppm 410-431. My tap water I have to ph down but by adding recharge and Elm Dirt the ph dropped into the 5Ph range so I had to add some ph up to bring it into the mid 6ph range. I’ve increased water to 1.5 ltrs ever other day since I topped her last week. She is very robust and recovered from topping, defoliation and LST. She was growing at a slant filling only ¾ but now with additional pinning the new growth, the top is full. From the pics you can see she filled out the top of the pot. 10/2 water 1 ltr pics Ph 6.24 Temp 70f Ppm 410 10/3 water 1 ltr pics 10/5 Defoliated and pinned more limbs pics water 1.5 ltr Ph 6.51 Temp 70f Ppm 431 I’ve been monitoring for any stretch so I would have room to top my plants frosted guava has more space between her nodes than Sunset had as the pics show. I’ve been watching @XII_XII_MrGreen demonstrate the pinch, twist and leave a stub technique for topping. I’ve also been watching @yan402 topping by cutting the tops with scissors also leaving a stub. 10/5 Frosted Guava had a spa , the best spa day a girl could ask for. She got topped, defoliated of covered bud sites and LST pinned down. Due to unsteady hands, I chose to top Sunset Sherbet using scissors. Thank you, Yan and Mr. Green for your thorough demonstrations of training techniques and tolerating my endless questions. Thank you friends for the visits and comments. I appreciate you💚. FROSTED GUAVA Sponsored by **Zamnesia ** Week 5 10/6-12 What a week it has been for me. I had a birthday, eye surgery and my bathroom renovation started. This time I increased both to 6 tbsp/gal. This brought the ppm from 250 to 637. Hopefully this will resolve the deficiencies. Nutrients: Eggshell water* 1 tbsp 2tsp Epsom salt for magnesium Plant juice 6 tbsp/gal Bloom juice 6tbsp/gal Recharge 1 tsp Ph 6.72 Temp 72f Ppm 650 *I made the eggshell water by drying egg shells in the oven, then pulverizing it in the food processor to make powder. Dissolve 1 tbsp egg shell to 1 c vinegar. Soak for 2 weeks. Shake periodically. Dilute 5:1 before using. Can be added to liquid fertilizer or used as a foliar spray. I was expecting the PH of the finished product to be highly acid. It was 7.02 on completion. 10/19 pics Nutrients: 2 ltr Plant juice 6 tbsp/gal Bloom juice 6 tbsp/gal Recharge 1 tsp Ph 6.58 Temp 71f Ppm 645 Nature visits during the week. FROSTED GUAVA Sponsored by **Zamnesia ** 10/20-26 week 7 I did some defoliation on 10/21 & 26. I LST pinned limbs down to open the top. Several of the copper wire pins were pushed out so I replaced them with garden pins. Frosted Guava is stretching. 10/26 the white pistils are showing as well as pink coloration in the under leaf veins and some striping on the stems. 10/21 pics. Nutrients: 2 ltr Plant juice 6 tbsp/gal Bloom juice 6 tbsp/gal Recharge 1 tsp Eggshell water :1 tbsp Epsom salt 1 TSp Ph 6.81 Temp 71f Ppm 502 10/26 watered and fed 2 literspics Showing some burnt leaf tips, I took her off the crate. However, Frosted Guava seems to be improving with the increased feed solution. Thank you, friends, for the visits and comments. I appreciate you💚. Sending love, light 💫 💫Natrona 💫

FROSTED GUAVA Sponsored by **Zamnesia ** 10/27-11/2 week 8 This week was all about defoliation and LST for Frosted Guava and Sunset Sherbet. Both these Zamnesia strains are similar in that they have numerous small leaves and many, many of them. The data sheet recommends regular maintenance, and defoliation is not a quick task. Speaking of tasks, this grow has been entirely manual in my 3x3 tent. I have to refill the humidifier daily and reduce the lighting periodically because sometimes it gets in the upper 80s and the humidity gets too high for the gals in flower. 10/28 & 11/1 pics.
