High everyone :-). I was at Cannfair in Duesseldorf last Sunday and as you might imagine bought a LOT of seeds, much more than I can grow in the next years. But I will present you one by one here. Orange Bud interested me already for quite some time. Since I am currently making an auto season, I chose the Auto Pack of Dutch Passion, which contained one Auto Orange Bud seed. I put it into a paper towel immediately after I came home, after two days the seed had germinated and I put her into a coco jiffey for another four days before planting her into her final destination, an AirPot 12,5 filled with 50% Biobizz LightMix and 50% Biobizz Coco. As fertilizer, I decided to try BioTabs, because I got a StarterPack for two plants for free at the fair :-). However, the seedling seems very weak, her leaves are crippled, and I really hope that she is making it!
I will drop another report today with a seed of a NEW and COOL seed company, which has not yet been grown here. Stay tuned.
Auto Orange Bud is fighting. She is developing the next set of leaves, but they also seem slightly crippled. The conditions were ideal, except for the gnat invasion, which I am currently fighting with SF Nematodes. For this grow, I am exclusively using BioTabs as nutrients. The substrate is 50% Lightmix and 50% Coco, as recommended by Dutch Passion. The pot is a 12.5l AirPot.
Auto Orange Bud has survived and is growing slowly, but steadily. She looks green and healthy. The SF Nematodes did their job, only a few gnats are flying around. Let us keep our fingers crossed that she makes a jump before starting to flower.
Finally, Auto Orange Bud is growing nicely. She definitely survived, although her main stem is still very thin, but she has developed several new leaves. Usually, she is in the cosy basement, but today, she is enjoying the sun outside. I am looking forward to more growth in the following days.
Finally, Auto Orange Bud is growing normally. She picked up 10cm in the last week and looks healthy. I hope that she will grow at least to 40cm before starting to flower. We will see.
Flowering has started and Auto Orange Bud has made a huge stretch, more than doubling in size to 48cm; incredible! At this point, there is not much I have to do. Every three days she gets a little water and for the rest I let the Biotabs work their magic.
Auto Orange Bud is continuing to stretch nicely. Flowers are showing up, but not as many as I would have hoped. The structure is not the typical christmas tree. As scheduled by BioTabs, I added the second installment of Orgatrex and Bactrex.
Orange Bud has strechted another 17cm to above 90cm. More buds are forming. This week, I added 10ml of PK as recommended by BioTabs. The weak seedling has come back with a vengeance!
The lady has a very airy structure, but is stacking up nicely. Her lateral growth has stopped by now. Not much to do other than being happy and waiting.
Orange Bud is ripening quickly. The buds are large and resinous. According to the feeding schedule of Bio Tabs, I added Bio PK today. The lady seems happy and so am I.
The buds are fattening spectacularly. For an auto, this is really astonishing; just look at the main bud. Very good genetic. I will probably give her two more weeks until cutting.
Auto Orange Bud is ripening rapidly. Her buds are fat and sparkling with trichoms. Wonderful! The only weakness of my phenotype is that she does not have as many side branches as on the pictures and video on the website. But this is not a problem for me, because I only consume small quantities. She has got her last meal today of 10ml Bio Tabs PK; her trichoms are milky. I will give her another week before harvest.
