Well I got to say that I see that the fan leafs are getting lighter then the rest of the leafs. I really got the feeling that the yellowing is already started, but the trichomes are still mostly clear. Somehow I've got the feeling that she is'nt ready in about 1.5 week and you are also saying that 2 weeks in front good be too long.. Should I gave her some nutes for the last time? If I gave her some nutes and she is ready in 1.5 weeks, then she still got 10 days to flush. If she is ready for harvest some what later, then give her right now nutes and she still got about two weeks left... really got the feeling to gave her nutes, but I'm a beginner, so don't know if I can trust my guts on this one :P. Need some advise of some experienced growers 😚.

@BigDaddyK, thnx :D! If i put her in total darkness, I will he a fan blowing next to her for good ventilation, in the hope that mold won't get a chance. Is t a good idea?

@maverick, Hey so I am going to agree with most if not all of what @cannasim said. The speed of trichomes development is something I just don't have enough experience with and for my last few grows I don't know if I could tell you an actual progression speed. I think it is dependent on environment and strain to be honest. From what you are looking for in your trichomes profile, my opinion is that you feed them for one more full week and then start giving only water until you see the trichomes you want then harvest with a 3 day flush minimum, 5 is probably better. The timing isn't a huge deal like I thought it was when I first started growing. If you nutrient up to almost where you want with trichomes then start your flush, the progression of trichomes won't go crazy in 3-5 days I don't think and if it does it's just a little more of a calm body sensation which isn't bad. Anyway. Hate to give you the typical advice but just feed for a bit longer and give her about 1.5 more weeks total is my guess.

@maverick, So in my opinion, there is a lot of clear, so based on the diagram i sent you before, you still in step A and evolving to the next, the B step is what people generally like as far as balance: B-50-70% of hairs darken, trichomes are milk / cloudy, you get the most intense high, with most euforia - pain relief vibe. The velocity the girls will develop to that point is impossible to know accurately, so the flush should be generically speaking two weeks for soil one week for coco. I personally would stop nutes and flush them, they should be ready by the time you finish... But all that is subjective and goes by personal preference... You can take a sample and try if just for future ref, just keep in mind fresh, unflushed and uncured weed will usually taste harsh and bitter, but you will have a feel of it... As buds get bigger and mature you should also keep more attention to mould to make sure, specially if you have a more humid environment and a lot of rain...

@maverick, the timing to the maturation is hard to know you have to look frequently at the trics and pistols, for what I see yours are starting to become cloudy, looks like she will gain a lot of weight, your harvest window opens at A but she should still develop in size to B then is steady to C, the bigger the flowers the more you have to keep an eye to rot and mold.

@maverick,nice bro 👍🏻👍🏻 so as far as maturation goes you have the following options, to be more specific than in the discussion we had: A - 40% of hairs have darken, trichomes are half clear and half cloudy : Produces a more energetic effect, and buds tend to still growing in size. B-50-70% of hairs darken, trichomes are milk / cloudy, you get the most intense high, with most euforia - pain relief vibe. C- 70-90% hairs have darken, trichomes are major ambar and turning, you get more CBN less THC and a more relaxing / narcotic / couch lock high.

@CANNASIM, thnx for your answer. I looked it up and I can spray it during flowering. I will quit with spraying and nutes in approximately the last two weeks. I have got some trichomes pics to see in week 9. Howcan I determine when there are approxmately two weeks left till harvest If I want mostly cloudy trichs and maybe around 20% amber coloured trichs. Should I quit with spraying and nutes when I see the first amber coloured trichs? What is a good strategy?

@maverick, Shit buddy it's hard to tell from the pictures it if it is that's bad news. My advice would be to give it a few more days of careful observation. If the browning progresses or spreads then you need to sacrifice one bud and cut it open to find out for sure. Sorry to hear that my friend.

@CANNASIM,yeah it does.. circumstances are totally shitty last few weeks. A few good days but also a lot of cold rainy one and humidity above 80% :(. This morning I saw a 3rd cola with a tiny bit off budrot. It was close to another one. I cut it off.. treated the cutwound with vinegar. I will check regurlarly and probably will harvest too early in these days to prevent the loss of my whole harvest.

@maverick, cut off the bad buds and check the others buds daily.

@maverick,it's the best thing you could do, otherwise that shit is gonna spread on others buds.

@BigDaddyK, In my region it goes by the name of oxygenated water, i found to be nice to treat many roots problems, i also used to curb damping off issues, caused by contaminated soil(fungus in that occasion).

@maverick, 👊 to me they look very healthy! Doing well. If the tip starts burning a bit and curling is the start of too much nutes, but you don't have that, all good, try to alternate water / nutes.

@CANNASIM, Thnx for your info! I really appreciate, I'm very eager to learn more. This is my first grow. I will Post some pictures of the brown pistols later. I also got some burn spots on some leafs, so I was thinking about giving only water the next round and after that start with a little flores and rhizo and build the flores slowly up. If anyone has other suggestions I would like to know! Thnx for commenting 😃👍

@BigDaddyK, thnx for your reply. I checked the trichomes, you can see them now in week 10. Looks like the most are clear and some a bit milky. I have the feeling that most trichomes look bit milky due to reflection of the ledlight in my minimicroscope, but are actually clear. What are your thoughts about it? I want to stop nuts around two weeks before harvesting. Shoudl I stop by now or can i give her some nuts for this week?
