rMn_bautAn After I pre-germinated the seed in a glass of water, it was transferred to a Jiffy once the root tip appeared. After two days, the little plant showed up.

rMn_bautAn After the first real pair of leaves appeared, I carefully placed the Jiffy into Floragard Professional Growmix. This was mixed with ~50% perlite to avoid an excess of nutrients and to enable quick root growth.
When I got home on Saturday (14.9), I saw that the seedling had tipped over during my 24-hour absence. I propped the little plant up for now and hope I haven't caught damping-off disease or any other nonsense. Leaf growth seems normal so far.

rMn_bautAn Support was removed on Tuesday. Let's see if it can manage without it now. Otherwise, the growth is really picking up nicely. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks.
Even though I mixed the substrate 50/50 with perlite, I'm seeing the first signs of a nitrogen surplus. But I'm not too worried about it because the plants didn't have any major issues with that in the previous grow.

rMn_bautAn 25.9. Arrived in veg. Week 3, today transplanted into a 15-liter pot. Slight yellowing on the first leaves, I'll probably remove them tomorrow. Otherwise, the plan is to top the plant this weekend.
30.9.: The plant has grown well and can be topped in the next few days. Also, after a leaf feeding with magnesium, the yellow leaves have turned green again. But it could also be related to the increased nitrogen availability.

rMn_bautAn Checked again today. The plant looks very healthy so far. The only thing I'm not too happy about is the drain pH from the pre-buffered Floragard substrate, just like with the last grow. It's at about ~5.3. The pH of the nutrient water is around ~6.4.
But whatever, the switch will be flipped today or tomorrow.

rMn_bautAn Yesterday, I spontaneously flipped the switch and initiated the flowering. Today, I started the first defoliation before the stretching to make room for the LST clips. To my great surprise, there were already early signs of pre-flowering visible. Here's hoping the lady handles it well and gets going soon.
21.10:
The first flower sites are showing up, LST and defoliation have been well tolerated by the plant, and it's happily pushing forward now.

rMn_bautAn After happily stretching in week 5 and responding to the light change, the first tiny buds are showing in week 6. The flowering season has officially begun!
On October 29th, defoliation was done diligently. Blumi handled it well, and now she's really getting into the bud growth.

GrowDiaries is a bit annoying here. I’m not sure if I’ll continue writing after this grow. Quality of life is missing, just like the overview. The main thing is to run huge banners.
Well, Blumi is doing great anyway and is now fully kicking off with flower and trichome production. Plus, she smells fantastic like ripe pineapple. I didn’t expect that. Looking forward to the next few weeks!

rMn_bautAn 12.11: Start of the third flowering week. She's doing really well so far, no signs of deficiency. The Compo Organic Grow and Bloom nutrients are impressing me a lot.
Also, she now smells absolutely wonderful like ripe pineapple, I'm looking forward to the developments in the coming weeks!

rMn_bautAn Not much is happening yet. The buds are swelling slowly but steadily. The smell is increasing and by now the skunk genetics are coming through; the smell is still fruity, but now bites more in the nose. Apart from that, I applied nematodes today to combat the growing fungus gnat infestation.
I hope that it can be harvested in three weeks, but I'm currently assuming four.

rMn_bautAn Started the last defoliation yesterday, saw that a popcorn bud had hermied and also discovered a few seeds. Good, that's how it is now. Otherwise, it still looks great and now smells really skunky. The first check of the trichomes revealed the first amber-colored ones. Final spurt, I would say.

---------------
After drying and trimming, the grow has now been put through the ball vape. As far as the flavor profile is concerned, I am disappointed. There is no trace of the beautiful pineapple aromas that were present in the 4th week of flowering. Cheese and skunk dominate, tasting like the classic weed of my youth. Not bad, but not what I grew the strain for. I also really like the effect, despite the early harvest. Long-lasting, relaxing, without being too hard on the body.
Nevertheless, I'll keep my hands off Barneys for now.

rMn_bautAn Unfortunately I had to harvest a week earlier than I wanted because an EXTREMELY large number of bananas appeared on the popcorn buds, many of which were already open. I also discovered seeds and then had to take action.
Barney's Farm was very disappointing. Out of three seeds, two didn't germinate at all and one of them hermied. Otherwise the grow was very easy, it's a shame that it got so stupid at the end.
@Y33TMA1N,
I was surprised too. But I've read here and there on Growdiaries that Pineapple Chunk tends to do that. I've already spotted a few seeds in the small buds as well. The big one seems to be doing well, though. Well, next week it will probably be chopped anyway. Hopefully, nothing bad happens until then.
