📆 [24.11.] - Day 7️⃣6️⃣
Mothers:
🌡️ 20.9°C - 27.9°C ☁️ Rh: 38% - 63%
🌞 Transplanted all 3 into big pots with 40l living soil, again in layers that are done in the same way I did it in the 8l pot of my now "Old" Mandarin Cookies mother plant, as I consider this experiment successful mainly because this substrate holds twice the amount of water compared to my pure living soil which has a really good drainage. (Read: Germination week of my Mandarin Cookies DIary for more information and thougts about this). This time the substrate had a lot of time to "ripen and merge together".
🌞 I have noticed that i have increased needs for CalMag in this substrate and need to feed a lot more in general, also by topdressing. Hope not to run into a bad fungus gnat infection by doing that , as i didnt manage to get rid of them completely yet. This Culinex doesnt seem to work well when feeding heavily through topdressing, i am going to increase the dose. I am going to add a fresh batch of predator mites later to prevent a heavy fungus gnat infestation.
🌞 Also I have to be careful not to overwater them in these big pots.
🌞 They have been moved into a bigger tent to let them flower in some days! Taking clones has taken too much time and it would be a shame not letting these beautiful plants flower now, after that long veg. I am going to keep one of each one plants clones as new mothers of course, the other clones i will give away.
💬Unfortunately #5 will stay a little smaller than the others now, but i think its going to be alright. The tent is going to be filled anyways, and this is some sort of a small hunt for a keeper so its fine.
💦 Watered each one with 2000ml of 10l filtered rainwwater + 2 dissolved tablets of BTI proteins and 2 teaspoons of SF Nematodes to prevent & kill the fungus gnats.
💬 Installed a scrog net, applied LST
💬 Added predator mites ("Hypoaspis Miles")
Clones:
💬 Day 23
🌡️ ~19.0°C - 25.0°C ☁️ Rh: ~80% - 99%
- Nothing -
💬 8 of 13 have shown their roots until today. I am going to keep one clone of each plant as a backup for choosing the keepers after the grow. This time i am going to prune them more often so that they stay smaller.
💬 ToDo: Transplant the ones that are rooted through.
