@Sativagrows, nope, not topped... Just real stunted. I've topped and mained my photos but not autos.
No bleaching to my eye on any of my girls. Came close but have been watching closer - PPFD is on par (HAH!) with with what it should be for the current DLI of 40-ish.
As for bending her over - nah. She's getting great side-lighting and deep penetration with the recent lighting upgrades - an array 8x 180W SZHLUX PT1800 LEDs which are tilted and positioned to provide full lighting to the sides as well. Plants get moved and turned and fully exposed from multiple angles.
But, considering the horrible start my ladies have had (supply-chain issues on nutes, a single weak '100W on a good day' light, others - now mostly resolved through overarching overkill), I fully expect that main cola to be respectable when finished.
I appreciate your input on increasing harvests but I think we may have different mindsets with respect to growing. I'm not growing for production or to push boundaries. Rather I'm growing for data. Take a look at the pix of the charts and graphs I post in my grows. Note the weekly growth and stretch data.
I find the data collection and analytics here to be lacking so have been making my own (Currently Google Sheets, migrating to LibreOffice Base eventually).
Anyway, I have a couple more of each of the seeds for my autos and when I re-run this grow I'll be collecting better data and will have nice side-by-side. If I bent or topped the plants, then parts of the data I care about would become skewed, no longer be useful, or unavailable entirely.
Thanks though.
