I’m now at the end of week 5, and things are looking great with my 9 plants:
3 FullGas from Greenhouse Seeds
1 Moweeto from Greenhouse Seeds
2 FullGas x Moweeto (a cross I created)
1 Oreoz
1 Runtz
1 Blueberry Pancakes from Humboldt Seed Company
I also have a Green Poison from Sweet Seeds, but I'm still deciding whether it will go into flowering with the rest of the plants.
My Blueberry Pancakes comes from an old clone plantation, adding a bit of history to my grow.
The vegetation phase has been done in a tent measuring 1m x 1m x 2m (3.28 ft x 3.28 ft x 6.56 ft).
I'm using Athena Pro Line nutrients for the first time and I’m absolutely loving them so far!
I'm maintaining a pH of 5.8-6.0 and an EC of 3.0 in my hydroponic system with rockwool.
Environmental Conditions:
Day temperatures: 24-26ºC (75.2-78.8ºF)
Night temperatures: 20-22ºC (68-71.6ºF)
Humidity: 55%-65%
Everything is coming along nicely, and I can't wait to see how these beauties develop!
Week 6 Report
The plants are thriving with strong growth and great color.
Day 39: The last feed of the vegetative phase—1L of water per plant. At this stage, they’ve absorbed everything really well, and this marks the final watering before transitioning to the flowering phase.
Day 40: Defoliation day! I decided to give the 3 FullGas plants a proper trim, removing excess foliage to improve airflow and light penetration. These are the only plants that haven’t been topped so far, and they're responding well to this treatment.
Day 41: Final day of the vegetative phase. All the plants have grown beautifully and are ready for the next chapter. They look healthy, strong, and vigorous.
The plants are growing at a good pace, with no major issues. The Athena nutrients continue to work wonders, really boosting their health and growth. Some of the leaves are showing signs of thrips, but it’s nothing to worry about. Overall, everything looks great.
Week 1 of Flowering Report:
The light schedule has been switched to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark, marking the official start of flowering. Watering has been consistent, every two days. On Day 3, I moved the plants to the larger tent, 120cm x 120cm (4x4 feet), with the light set to 50% power.
The plants have shown remarkable growth, stretching by 20cm in just this week. They are responding well to the new environment and thriving as they transition into the flowering phase.
End of Week 2 of Flowering Report:
This week, the plants continued their rapid stretch, and I've been watering them daily with no runoff.
Day 11: I reset the rockwool with 50 liters to thoroughly re-soak the medium and maintain optimal conditions. The light intensity was also increased to 75%, giving the plants more energy as they settle into the flowering stage.
R.I.P.
The Runtz plant was removed from the tent this week as it was too small and wasn't keeping up with the others. The Oreoz is also lagging behind, and if it doesn’t show better development by next week, it will likely be removed as well.
The increased light and regular watering have kept them happy and vigorous as they continue to develop!
Mid-Week 3 of Flowering Update:
Day 15 & 16:
I did a thorough defoliation to ensure better light penetration and airflow through the canopy. The plants have been receiving daily waterings with about 20% runoff, maintaining a healthy environment in the rockwool.
Added a ScrOG net to help spread out some branches and to provide support for the buds as they develop further. This should ensure a more even canopy and better distribution of light across the plants.
The flowers are starting to develop nicely, and the plants have slowed down in their vertical growth. I'm still deciding whether the Oreoz will stay in the tent, as it’s lagging behind. The Blueberry Pancakes also isn’t developing as well as the others, so I’m keeping a close eye on both of them.
End of Week 3 of Flowering:
The stretch phase has come to an end, and now the focus is on flower development. The buds are starting to swell, and the first signs of trichomes are appearing—exciting times!
I lowered the light intensity to 70% since the leaves were praying too much, indicating that they might have been getting too much light. I’ll keep a close eye over the next few days to see if further adjustments are needed.
Grow Diary: End of Week 4 Flowering
The end of Week 4 has brought some significant developments. The scent coming from the tent is already beautiful and potent for this stage of flowering, showing a huge difference compared to the previous week. Today, I increased the light intensity back up to 75% to see how they respond. The plants were already showing signs of improvement, so I hope they handle the boost well.
Midweek, temperatures dropped, and humidity levels rose, with the tent conditions hitting around 25-26ºC (77-78.8ºF) and 55-60% humidity. While not ideal, I'm working on maintaining better control. Throughout the week, I removed some of the lower leaves to improve airflow and prevent potential moisture issues.
I've been watering daily with around 1 liter per plant. However, I noticed some nutrient burn on the tips of the FullGas plants. To address this, I did a reset of the rockwool with about 5 liters of water, adjusted to 2.0 EC and a pH of 6.1. The Moweeto and Lime Cheese didn’t show signs of nutrient excess, so I only adjusted their feeding on the last day to match the EC 2.0.
The Blueberry Pancakes has been showing signs of manganese deficiency. I’ve done multiple resets on the rockwool, suspecting a pH imbalance might be the cause, but the plant hasn't shown any signs of improvement. I’m beginning to suspect it could be infected with Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd), which might explain the persistent issue.
Overall, despite some challenges, the plants are progressing well, and I’m hopeful about their continued development as they settle into the next stage of flowering!
End of Week 5 Flowering
The plants are progressing beautifully as we near the final stretch of flowering. I've been watering daily with around 1.2 to 1.4L per plant, keeping the EC at 3.0 and the pH around 6.0 to 6.2. The light intensity is set at 70%, which seems ideal for maintaining their current growth without any light stress. The scent in the tent has become quite intense, with each strain bringing a unique profile:
Blueberry Pancakes: A smaller plant with compact buds that are starting to take on a purple hue. Its aroma is developing into a sweet syrupy fragrance with hints of blueberry coming through.
FullGas #1: Large with dense, compact flowers and a robust, pungent aroma of gas, almost like shoe polish—a true terpene powerhouse.
FullGas #2: The tallest and heaviest producer in the tent. It has a strong cheese scent, with a subtle hint of sweetness, about 90% gas with a 10% sweet undertone.
FullGas #3: Smaller yet very productive, with the best aroma of the three. A potent blend of gas and cheese with a final hint of honey-like sweetness—really intense.
Moweeto: Frosty and productive with a refreshing scent of lime mixed with mint and a touch of something spicy. The aroma is still subtle but promising.
Lime Cheese #1: I love its structure; the buds are well-spaced and compact. The scent is strong, like a cheese platter with a sweet lime undertone.
Lime Cheese #2: Smaller, with beautiful round nugs and a similar aroma to #1, though it leans more toward the cheese and less on the sweet lime side.
Exciting developments all around as we continue into the flowering phase!
Week 6 Highlights
Each plant is receiving daily waterings between 1 to 1.5 liters to keep them hydrated at their current growth stage.
Day 39: Defoliated the Blueberry Pancake to improve light and airflow.
Day 40: Defoliated the 3 FullGas plants.
Day 41: Defoliated the Moweeto and Lime Cheese plants.
Day 42: Performed a thorough reset on the rockwool with 30 liters of Fade solution at an EC of 2.0 and pH 6.2.
The flowers are developing well with noticeable gains in both size and weight, already leaning and needing support on almost all branches.
Light remains at 70% power.
I also removed the Oreoz plant this week, as it was too small and underdeveloped, freeing up space for the others to thrive.
P.S. I have dogs, so don’t mind the occasional pet hair that might end up on the flowers!
End of Week 7
The light intensity has been set at 60% since the beginning of the week. I’ve been watering daily, using Fade nutrients at 2.2 EC during the first few days, gradually increasing to 3.0 EC as the week progressed.
On the last day, I discovered small spots of Botrytis on two buds: one from FullGas #2 and one from FullGas #3. After thoroughly inspecting the tent, I didn’t find any additional signs of the issue, but I’ll remain vigilant. To help prevent further outbreaks, I increased air circulation inside the tent.
All the flowers continue to develop beautifully, with a noticeable increase in density and resin production despite the small setback.
Week 8
This week was all about staying vigilant. I thoroughly inspected every plant daily for signs of botrytis, working to keep the humidity as low as possible. I also reduced the light intensity to 60%, aiming for a PPFD of around 800–900.
Day 52: I harvested FullGas #2 and #3. Despite my efforts, I found small spots of botrytis on both plants. To avoid further losses, I decided to harvest immediately. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take pictures in the rush. The trichomes were still milky, with no amber visible, but it was better to harvest early than risk losing them entirely.
Day 56: I harvested FullGas #1 after spotting a tiny bud where botrytis was just starting. I caught it very early, minimizing any loss. The trichomes on this plant were closer to my preference, with a slight amber hue beginning to show.
The remaining plants are thriving, showing no signs of botrytis and looking incredibly healthy.
Harvest Report: FullGas #1, #2, and #3
Total Weight: 225.8 g
Plant Profiles:
FullGas #1 & #2: Both yielded large, compact flowers, very similar in structure and resin production.
FullGas #3: Smaller in size and production but equally compact and absolutely loaded with trichomes.
Aroma and Touch:
The FullGas trio exudes a consistent scent profile of shoe polish and cheese, with a very resinous touch.
Challenges:
Unfortunately, these were the only plants in the tent affected by botrytis. I suspect the higher light intensity may have contributed, though this was the first occurrence across two FullGas grows. It’s a point to consider for future setups.
Drying Process:
The flowers dried for 12 days under controlled conditions of 55-60% RH and 20ºC, preserving their quality.
The Moweeto I grew this time was a true champion in production, far surpassing the second-best plant in yield. It produced massive, compact colas and remained trouble-free throughout the grow—except for turning hermaphrodite early in flowering.
It definitely required a SCROG net for support toward the end of flowering, as the weight of the buds was overwhelming. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any photos because the plant couldn’t even stand upright outside the tent.
Drying conditions: 12 days at 55-60% humidity and 20°C.
Despite its challenges, its performance in yield and quality makes it memorable, though the hermaphroditism remains a downside.
The Blueberry Pancake I grew came from a clone of a plant I had previously selected from an old grow. The yield was very low, probably due to stress at the beginning of flowering, but the plant stood out for its abundant resin and wonderful fragrance.
Although I really enjoyed the flavor, which is amazing, the potency of the smoke wasn't strong enough for me to keep this strain in my genetics. The flavor is excellent, but it lacks a bit more strength in the effect for me to consider keeping it in the future.
Lime Cheese #1 and #2:
Harvested on day 59 of flowering. These were beasts in terms of both yield and trichomes. I didn't have any problems with this grow. They definitely needed a scrog net to support the buds at the end. They dried for 12 days at 55-60% humidity and 20°C. I couldn't take photos of them outside the tent because they couldn't stand up on their own.
Smoke report:
Aroma
Opening the jar releases an intense wave of fresh citrus, dominated by sharp lime notes, paired with a funky, savory undertone reminiscent of aged cheese. The combination is both unique and captivating, leaving a lasting impression.
Flavor
The taste delivers exactly what the aroma promises, offering a rich and balanced experience:
Inhale: A burst of vibrant, refreshing lime that feels almost cooling on the palate.
Exhale: Earthy, kushy undertones take over, rounded out by a savory, funky cheese finish. It’s a flavor profile that’s bold, complex, and incredibly satisfying.
Effects
The effects hit quickly with a heavy couch lock, making it perfect for deep relaxation. Despite its sedative nature, it retains a slightly social edge, allowing for calm, meaningful conversations in an intimate setting.
Final Verdict
Lime Cheese is a standout strain, blending a unique citrus funk with powerful effects. Its distinct flavor and aroma, coupled with its relaxing yet social high, make it an excellent choice for unwinding at the end of the day.
