Only one of the three seeds I planted germinated, and this is disappointing for Dutch Passion as I've had really good success in the past. I actually think it's because I bought these seeds from a store in town instead of ordering online like I usually do. They were stored on a shelf instead of in a fridge like I do, so I should have known they wouldn't do as well. Hopefully the one who germinated makes it worthwhile!
Germination method includes poking the seed in a cococoir plug and putting that in my AeroGarden. I don't give nutes for germination just a little hydroguard to keep the bene's going. This one popped mid week and I moved her down to her DWC home Sunday.
Water in DWC - well water I put in the bucket 12-24 hours before, hydroguard, calimagic, and GH trio nutes, week 1 on the schedule from growweedeasy.com. About 3 gallons in buckets so I use that for my calculations. 5 gallon bucket with an airstone. I pulled the roots through the bottom of the net pot and gently surrounded the plug with expanded clay pellets. The tap root reached down to the water level so I shouldn't have to top water at this point.
