Metamorph Hello everyone! π We're back in the game, this time with two big hitters: Gorilla Cookies Auto π¦πͺ and Forbidden Runtz Auto ππ¬!
Preparation of Coco Coir β Itβs a Process, But Worth It! π±πͺ
Prepping coco coir is always a bit of a labor of love π, but it's all part of the game. I started by soaking the coco cubes in water π§, adding a bit of Cal-Mag Xtra to give it that early boost πͺ.After a good soak, I drained the coco, threw it in the pots and flushed it thoroughly πΏ. The next day, I gave it a final flush and let it rest for 12 hours (hey, that's part of my feng shui π). After the 12-hour "zen time" π§ββοΈ, I prepped my nutrient solution with pH Perfect Sensi Coco Grow A & B, Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra, and my root boosters β King Crab π¦, Great White π¦, Myco Chum and Orca π
Once I poured the nutrient-rich solution into the coco, I adjusted the pH to 5.8 π and let it sit for a solid 3 days. Time to get those seeds ready! π±π
Seed Germination β Let's Get This Show Started π
The seeds went into 6.2 pH water π§, where they had their little soak overnight. By morning, the seeds sank, which is always a good sign π. I then transferred them to a small container where I placed them between two damp sponges . I made sure the container was humid π¦ and sealed it up, keeping it in a spot with a steady 23-25Β°C temperature π‘οΈ.
The next morning, both seeds showed me a tiny 1-2 mm taproot π±. No time to waste β they were telling me theyβre ready! π
Final Coco Prep & Planting π±
I drained the coco once again and mixed it with 20% perlite to give those roots some room to breathe. Filled up the pots and made a 1 cm deep hole for each seed, placing them root down into the coco. After planting, I gave them a light mist with a spray bottle and covered each with a cut-off plastic bottle cap for humidity π«οΈ, making sure to poke holes for air circulation π¬οΈ.
Tent Environment π‘οΈ
The current tent temperature is sitting at 24Β°C during the day π, and I havenβt hit the night cycle yet π, but weβre set for smooth sailing π. The Quantum Board 240W is doing its job perfectly π, and the coco is holding steady.
Letβs see what magic these two strains have in store! Stay tuned for more updates as we head into the next stage of this grow journey π±πͺβ¨.

Metamorph Day 1.
π±πΏ After moving the seeds to coco, it took about 48 hours for both to pop their heads out! Runtz made it look easy π, but Gorilla struggled a bit with shedding its seed shell. I kept misting the top to help soften the dried membrane, but in the end, I had to step in with a little help from two needle tips. Now theyβre both standing strong and happy πͺπ±. The tent is sitting at 20-24Β°C with 60% humidity. Iβm keeping things moist by misting the area around the roots. Exciting times ahead! ππ
Day 2.
Gorilla had a bit of stress from the seed shell, but in my experience, a little stress at this stage often leads to a stronger plant πͺ. Letβs see how it goes, but so far everything seems alright! Iβve been lightly misting around to keep the coco moist and give it about 50ml of clean water at the base to maintain hydration. π±πΏ

Metamorph π±π§ The first week went really well! I gave them a few light waterings with a mix of Grow A 1ml/L + Grow B 1ml/L, Cal-Mag 1ml/L, and some root boosters according to the dosagesβabout 0.5-1 liter each time. Afterward, I topped off the coco since it settled a bit after watering. Gorilla is finally bouncing back, and looks pretty good considering all the birth stress it went through! πͺπ Meanwhile, Runtz is growing like CRAZYβseriously, itβs unstoppable! ππΏ
β By the way, hereβs a little tip! When youβre buying seeds, always go for the bigger ones! After tons of testing, Iβve noticed the bigger the seed, the bigger and healthier the plant grows! πΏπͺ
π I know not many people might be following this journal right now, but hey, letβs keep pushing and see where this goes! π₯β¨
π± Week 2 is almost done, and the girls are looking great! πΏ
Runtz is the bigger one so far, while Gorilla is still catching up. Iβve been careful not to overwaterβjust keeping it light with 1ml/L of A and B, Micro Chum 1ml/L, and water at 140 PPM, which brings the total to 300-350 PPM. The max water given has been around 1 liter per plant.
Temperature during the day is sitting comfortably at 25Β°C, dropping to 19-20Β°C at night, with humidity between 55-80%. π‘οΈπ§
Everything interesting is still ahead! π

Iβve slightly increased the nutrients and gave each plant 1.5 liters of water with:
β’ A: 2ml/L
β’ B: 2ml/L
β’ Micro Chum: 0.8ml/L
β’ CalMag: 0.5ml/L
β’ Orca: 0.5ml/3L
β’ King Crab: 0.5ml/3L
β’
Great white: ~ 1g/3L
PPM is sitting at 500 and pH at 6.2. Both plants are looking healthy and strong πͺ. Iβm planning to start LST (low-stress training) around day 21, so by the end of the week.
Daytime temperatures fluctuate between 22-25Β°C, and at night, they drop to around 18-22Β°C.

Metamorph π± Week 4 has kicked off, and the plants are stretching out nicely!
Iβve started using LST (low-stress training) to spread them out as much as possible. πΏ So far, everything looks good, but I noticed that the runoff pH is at 6.5, which seems a bit high for a coco substrate. To adjust, Iβve been watering with a pH of 5.5 to bring it down. Letβs see how things develop over the week. π€
Looking forward to seeing how they react! πͺπ±
π± Week 4 Update!
Yesterday, I did some defoliation, removing extra leavesβmostly from Runtz, but only three from Gorilla. For watering, I gave Runtz a tea mix with A+B 3ml/L, PPM 600 at pH 5.5. The runoff came out at PPM 300 and pH 6.7. Gorillaβs tea mix had A+B 2ml/L, PPM 400, and pH 5.5, and the runoff showed PPM 300 and pH 6.5.
Iβm stretching them daily with LSTβRuntz is looking great and responding well to the training. Gorilla, on the other hand, has had issues from the start and seems like itβs growing with some mutant traits this cycle. But hey, letβs see how it goes! πΏπͺ

Metamorph π± Hey friends! Continuing the grow report, and weβre now in Week 5!
Runtz has revealed her true colorsβsheβs a girl! π Gorilla is still focusing on growth, but both plants have had LST training and defoliation.
Iβve been watering with a tea mix at PPM 600 and pH 5.8. The runoff shows:
β’ Runtz: PPM 350, pH 6.4
β’ Gorilla: PPM 200, pH 6.3
Right now, Iβm watering every other day but expect to switch to daily soon. Both plants are growing strong, and Iβm hoping theyβll start flowering this week. πΈ The real beauty is about to begin as they enter the bloom phase!
Letβs keep an eye on these girls and see what they bring! πΏβ¨
π± Defoliation Day!
Up until now, Iβve only been removing a leaf or two here and there, but today I went in for a full defoliation session. πΏ It was a bit intense, but Iβm hoping the girls handle the stress and bounce back stronger! πͺ
Keeping a close eye on them over the next few daysβletβs see how they respond! π Fingers crossed for a good recovery and growth boost. π
Week 6 Update
Week 6 is complete! I did another round of defoliation at the end of the week and stretched the plants nicely. Iβve started feeding bloom nutrients to the Runtz, hoping the Gorilla will begin flowering soon as well. Fingers crossed for a December harvest!
On to Week 7!

Metamorph πΏHello friends, weβre in week 6.
π«Runtz has started flowering, but I canβt say the same for π¦Gorilla; itβs still in the vegetative stage. Hopefully, it will start flowering this week as well.
π¦For Runtz, Iβm using Bloom A 4ml/L + Bloom B 4ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L, with a PPM of 800 and pH of 5.5.
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 500 and pH 6.7.
π¦For Gorilla, Iβm continuing with A+B Grow 4ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L, PPM 800 and pH 5.5
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 580 and pH 6.8
π
I flushed my Runtz plant because itβs already in the flowering stage, and the pH level was too high for proper phosphorus absorption. I used 12 liters of water with a pH of 5.5, but the runoff pH stayed min 6.5. After that, I gave it a mix of Bloom A+B 4ml/l + CalMag 0.4ml/l + Myco Chum 0.8ml/l, with a PPM of 800 and pH of 5.5.
For the Gorilla plant, Iβm still using nutrients intended for the grow stage since it hasnβt started flowering yet
A+B Grow 4ml/L + MicoChum 0.8ml/L + CalMag 0.5ml/L, PPM 800 and pH 5.5
The runoff water is coming out at PPM 460 and pH 6.8

Metamorph Hey friends! π± Weβre in week seven, and earlier this week, I flushed the Runtz because I noticed a nutrient deficiency on a few leaves. Did a big flush with 15 liters of water at pH 5.5, which brought the pH down from 6.8 to 6.3 β and it should keep dropping gradually. Now itβs feeding happily with A+B 4ml/l, Myco Chum 0.8 ml/l, and CalMag 0.4 ml/l, with a PPM of 800 and pH 5.5. The runoff is at PPM 450 and pH 6.3. π
As for the Gorilla π¦, its pH also spiked up to 6.9, which caused a bit of burn on 2-3 leaves. So, today, I decided to give it a flush too and switch it over to flowering nutrients. Finally looks like itβs starting to bloom! πΈ
On top of that, humidityβs been pretty high π§οΈ. Itβs cold and damp outside, so tent humidity hits around 60% during the day and can go up to 90% at night! I know thatβs way up there, but I havenβt had a chance to defoliate yet. Most of the moistureβs coming from the leaves, especially the ones overlapping at the bottom β theyβre constantly wet. Might do one final defoliation in 1-2 weeks.
The uneven flowering also means the Runtz will finish up about two weeks before the Gorilla, which is a bit tricky since Iβll need to dry in the same tent and donβt have another space. π
I thought the Gorilla would stay small because it was stressed early on, but itβs really living up to its name β growing like a true beast! π¦π
This week, Gorilla had a flush π¦ due to visible nutrient deficiencies on the leaves π. Hereβs the breakdown of the last watering:
Gorilla:
β’ Bloom A: 4ml/l
β’ Bloom B: 4ml/l
β’ CalMag: 0.4ml/l
β’ Myco Chum: 0.8ml/l
β’ PPM: 800
β’ pH: 5.5
Runoff:
β’ PPM: 400
β’ pH: 6.5
Runtz:
β’ Bloom A: 4ml/l
β’ Bloom B: 4ml/l
β’ Big Bud: 1ml/l
β’ Myco Chum: 0.8ml/l
β’ PPM: 900
β’ pH: 5.5
Runoff:
β’ PPM: 500
β’ pH: 6.5
Runtz is about 11 days ahead of Gorilla in flowering πΈ.
This week, Iβm not planning any major changes. I really wanted to defoliate because humidity levels are reaching 80-90% π§, but Iβll hold off for now. Iβd rather let the plants focus all their energy on developing flowers πΊ instead of growing new leaves.
Wishing everyone a peaceful and successful grow! πΏπ
Metamorph Hello, friends! π±
Weβre now in week 9! π At the end of week 8, I trimmed the leaves on both plants that were blocking airflow. βοΈ I removed about 30-40% of the leaves. Today, the plants show no signs of stress, and I think they handled it well. πΏπͺ Iβll do another round of defoliation at the end of this week, but itβs still a bit early to disturb them further. β³
Gorilla is eating well π¦, but Runtz has stopped feeding. Runtz only needs about 1 liter of water in a 13-liter pot, while Gorilla is taking 2.5 liters. π§
Nothing much new to share for now, but Iβll update you with any news during the week. π
Wishing everyone a successful and productive week! πβ¨

Metamorph Hello again, dear growers! π±π
Weβve officially stepped into Week 10 of this wild and fragrant journey! Last week ended with a little makeover for the girlsβI defoliated about 30-40% of the leaves again. βοΈ The Gorilla decided to keep me on my toes by showing some nutrient deficiencies on her leavesβguess she didnβt get enough food after the flush. ππΏ (Lesson learned: donβt keep a Gorilla hungry!)
Now, letβs talk about Runtz! π Sheβs an absolute queenβso photogenic that even my struggling phone canβt capture her real beauty. πΈβ¨ Sheβs forming into one giant, luscious bud, and her fragrance is something else entirely! π΅οΈββοΈ The carbon filter is fighting the good fight, but if the room isnβt aired out every 8-9 hours, a little aroma starts sneaking through.
But opening the tentβ¦ oh, my friends, thatβs where the magic happens! π¬οΈπ« The aroma is intoxicatingβimagine diving headfirst into a field of flowers while bees whisper secrets in your ears. πΊπ I just sit there, enchanted, savoring the smell, and staring at these beauties like a hypnotized gardener. Honestly, itβs hard to walk away. π
Hereβs their menu for the week:
π΅ Feed: A+B 4ml/L, Micro Chum 1ml/L, Big Bud 2ml/L
π PPM: 1050 | pH: 5.8
π§ Runoff: PPM 1000 | pH 6.0-6.3
Now, for the not-so-great newsβ¦
Iβm struggling with humidity levelsβdaytime sits around 65-77%, and at night, it can climb to a stubborn 80%. π«οΈ Temperature-wise, itβs 23-25Β°C during the day and drops to a cool 16-18Β°C at night. βοΈπ₯
Despite the challenges, the endgame is near, and Iβm savoring every moment of this grow! π π Happy growing, everyone! π±π₯

Metamorph Hello, friends! π±β¨ Another week has passed, and here we are at the end of week 11! Not much has happened β Iβve kept things simple, just watering with minimal interference.
Runtz is almost at the finish line π― β most of the trichomes are beautifully white, with a touch of amber shining through here and there. Gorilla, on the other hand, is taking its sweet time π’, but Iβm hopeful itβll catch up in the next two weeks.
Why two weeks, you ask? Because Iβm heading to the mountains ποΈ for a New Yearβs vacation π and need to wrap up the cycle before then. By the time I leave, theyβll be wrapping up their 13th week β perfect timing, I hope!
For now, itβs all about the wait β the finish line is so close I can almost see it! ππΏ

Metamorph Hello Growers! π±π
Weβve officially stepped into the 12th month, and hereβs a little story for you! Yesterday, I accidentally damaged one of the very bottom branches of my Runtz β the one that barely got any light. Out of curiosity, I decided to dry it quickly in the oven and give it a try. Let me tell youβ¦ the name βForbidden Runtzβ isnβt just for show! π₯ Despite my high tolerance, it hit hard, and I can honestly say this strain is not for beginners. Iβm super satisfied! π
Now itβs Gorillaβs turn to get a taste test β canβt wait for that moment. π¦πΏ
Other than that, no big news. Iβm patiently waiting for the end of the month, as I plan to wrap up the cycle around the 13th week. This week, Iβll give them another round of nutrients, and for the final week, Iβll start the flushing process. πΏ
The smell in the grow room? Absolutely unreal. Itβs hard to describe, but it sticks to your brain so much that I sometimes catch myself remembering it while sitting at work! π¬οΈπ
Wishing everyone an amazing holiday season ahead β letβs keep growing strong! πβ¨
Cheers! π
Metamorph Hello fellow forum members and growers! π±π
My grow journey has come to an end a bit earlier than planned. Why, you ask? Well, humidity decided to play the villain this time! π§οΈ The big buds started to rot from the inside, and I caught it just in time. Instead of risking more losses, I chose to wrap up the cycle. π¬βοΈ
The last three days were spent flushing the plants thoroughly. π¦π§ Despite the early harvest, Iβm pretty satisfied with both strains. Now, all thatβs left is to patiently wait for the drying process to finish and welcome the New Year with a stash full of smokable joy! πβ¨
I donβt usually weigh my harvests (because numbers are boring, right? π), but Iβd say itβs a pretty decent yield. Letβs just say this year will definitely end on a high note. ππ₯
Happy growing to all, and may your buds always be dense and dank! πΏπ¨
