Nachzügler OG

Hobbygrower97 Unfortunately, with this strain, only one of the three seeds made it. The first two did germinate, but I apparently either drowned them or planted them too deep in the soil. Possibly both. The remaining seed germinated super quickly, just like the other two. Unfortunately, I waited a bit too long to plant it, and the root was a bit long. Additionally, the seed shell started to come off the seedling slowly. The decision to completely remove that shell when planting almost cost me this seed as well, since I accidentally tore one of the cotyledons off in the process. However, it has since recovered, and I hope to at least get a gram or two from this lady.

Hobbygrower97 Not much exciting is happening this week. I water regularly as soon as the pot feels light and according to the feeding schedule. The next few weeks leading to flowering will likely be less spectacular.

Hobbygrower97 The latecomer is growing happily. I'm surprised at how quickly it's gaining growth now. The side shoots are nicely pushing out from under the larger leaves to catch more light. Individual pistils are already visible. It's likely that it will also enter the flowering stage next week.

Hobbygrower97 The OG Kush surprises me with its rapid growth. It has gained quite a bit of height this week and is even starting to flower. I didn't expect that after the rough start. I think it has to do with the sativa-dominant growth type. Over the next week, I will gently pull the branches outwards with wire. If necessary, I will remove the large leaves that block light from reaching the buds.

Hobbygrower97 The OG Kush should have reached its maximum height by now. The buds are developing slowly. I tied down the lower branches a bit for better light penetration. This means they are quite a bit further away from the LED than the main stem. How this will affect things moving forward will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Hobbygrower97 The OG Kush Auto is happily growing along. It's hardly getting taller at this point. Instead, it's focusing on developing the buds. Yesterday, I removed the last small shoots and slightly wilted leaves. As soon as the Blueberry Auto from my other report goes into the drying box, it will have the whole tent to itself. However, that will likely take about 2 more weeks.

Hobbygrower97 This week, there was hardly any need to do anything with the plant. In the past few days, after I felt the pots were light, I watered as usual. I mixed in some fertilizer once. She's now drinking about 2 1/2 liters every 2 - 3 days.

Hobbygrower97 The OG seems to be finishing earlier than expected. The pistils are mostly brown, but the buds are still quite small and airy. According to the breeder, it should be ready in 1 - 2 weeks. I hope it gains some mass during this time.
