Welcome to my organic grow project with the mighty Cali Octane.
I´m super excited about this strain which is able to reach THC levels between 26 and 36%. WOW😍😋
The aim of the vegitationphase is to create a screen of green of about 0.8m x 1,2m out of one plant via LST and HST (Scrog net, LST clips, bending and topping).
A few hours after newmoon 3 Cali Octane seeds got planted into some "ROOT RIOT" cubes. Trichoderma and different bacteriae are already added.
Next month the nicest one will get picked and planted into large growing beds containing 100 - 130l of soil for each plant.
Soma, the great author and breeder inspired me to do it like this.
Alongside the Cali Octane two other strains are growing in that box (White truffle GC and Hella Jelly HSC).
Two days after sprouting the little ones will receive their first training in form of spraying "PUROLYT".
It helps to keep humidity levels high and VPD levels rel. low (also during flowering).

I hope to switch over into the flowering phase by the end of this year, depending also on the other plants in that box.
A complete screen of green has to be created before flowering starts...

Hi, everything's fine so far and the plants are starting to develop their real leaves
Before moving into the growbox i sorted one girl out. The leaves didn´t look healthy and she was growing much slower than the others.
Please excuse that i copied most of this text from my running White Truffle´ report. The plants are in the same box and the development is nearly the same at this stage. The activities in that box have been the same for both strains. There is a small battle running between them, i wonder which one i will like more in the end.

1》 first real VEG-day; potted 3 rooted girls into 3.5l containers with BIOBIZZ soil light mix after 11 days inside the greenhouse; BIOBIZZ Root Juice (4ml/l)
2》 Foliar PUROLYT application
3》😎 lazy day, everything's fine; i tested 2 different ´Biscotti´ phenos, both were dilicious and the high was pleasing💥
4》Root Juice (4ml/l) with the first CALMAG (2ml/l) since there is nearly no Mg in the Osmosis- and added tab-water of my city (tab=3mg Mg/l), at this stage i want ~22mg Mg/l I watered from beneath this time so that the whole pot gets completly wet and the primarly down growing roots get moistered enough. Plants ♡ it

Hi everybody!
The week was good and the plants are starting to grow faster. The green of the leafs is darker than the pictures suggest.
They received their first Trichoderma and Mycorrhiza cocktail and ♡ it.
Due to a lack of airflow the stem of one was a little bit weak and needed some support.
Temperatures are going down now rapidly in my area so i will set up a second Evo 5 LED soon.
Next week the girlies will get their first light NPK solution.

Hi!
The plants show their Indica side a little bit and and develop a sturdy stem. Hope they won't break too often when using LST later🙃
The leafs are looking healthy and strong aswell.
It's the first week that the green and growth structure is really satisfying my eyes🤩 The Trichodermae and Mycorrhizae seem to start working with the roots. More and more chloroplasts inside the leafs!
Next week i'll do a FIM at node 5 or 6.

Hi everybody!
This week i did a FIM with every plant instead of just topping. I must admit that i havn't been doing it since over 10 years or so. I preferred a simple topping because of the sure outcome.
With fimming you never know what the result will be like. A complete fail is possible aswell. It's like a gamble🎲
When i win their might be 4, 6 or 8 sprouts at the same height!
I flipped to 17 hours of light and will keep it like this til flowering. The plants will buffer stress better with it. They ♡ it. It means extra recovery time from HST, LST and other stress .
