Soaked seeds for 24hr in a shot glass filled with distilled, both seeds sunk so I planted in a soaked jiffy pellet. Put both pellets under a glass bowl to hold in humidy and both sprouted overnight. I used two 100W equivalent Cree 5700k LED bulbs with a makeshift reflective dome made from aluminum foil. At a few inches from the seedlings, some serious stretching still occurred so I had to use some toothpics to prop up Anna on day 4.

Transplanted both seedlings into 5 gallon smart buckets with a 50/50 mix of super soil and coco/perlite. Mixed some Great White mycorrhizae and diatomaceous earth in with the coco. Anna transplanted on day 7, Mila appears to be a runt and took a few more days before going into the 5gal. Moved both plants into a 4x2 tent with an HLG QB288v2 3000k at 24" from canopy. Watering schedule is every 4ish days or when the pot feels light. Watering with distilled, every other water includes some Plant Success MycoChum kelp/molasses mix.

I've made the noob mistake of not realizing the MycoChum was changing the PH of my water, so I've now readjusted to measure after getting everything mixed together. I think some of the discoloration and streaking present on Anna was the result of some badly Ph'd water. Mila is progressing after what I thought was a period of slow growth. Anna is also getting some odd curving at the tips of some leaves. not sure what to make of that, I redirected airflow from a fan so its not as direct on Anna in case the excess breeze was to blame.

The discoloring in Anna seems to be getting better, I attribute this to getting the feeding PH back where i should be @6.5. Mila has been looking "tired" lately, a lot more drooping that the previous week. I'm also seeing some yellowing at the tips of older growth. I picked up some CaliMagic just in case since a lot of signs are pointing to a magnesium deficiency. Added 4ml of CaliMagic to 1gallon spring water and fed to both plants (1 gallon per pot)

Topped Mila this week after the 5th node. She seems to be doing much better than last week, I'm thinking that the CalMag helped bring her back to her current perkiness. Added a second quantum board this week (QB135 @ 4000k), so together with the QB288 3000k im running somewhere around 370W from the wall in the 2x4 tent. Both plants are staying short and developing incredibly tight internodal spacing. I've raised the lights a bit to see if it helps them stretch out a big, im afraid of how bushy they're getting. It sure does make watering a pain! Im thinking another 2 weeks before flipping to flower.

F#$%'d up the FIM job on Mila. I don't believe i cut enough off, because a few days after the FIM the area began growing again. Went for the failsafe method and topped this time instead. Growth is continuing at a steady pace. Anna is getting mega bushy with lots of tight nodes, its getting to the point where some of the offshoots are getting tangled up in each other. I will probably start to do some pruning so the growth is more manageable. Continuing to water with Mycochum microbe food and Cali-Magic between feedings.

I was getting some discoloring, necrosis, and curling of fan leaves on Anna which indicated a potential nutrient lockout. Considering the amount of salt built up on the smart pot and my lack getting a substantial runoff during each watering makes me think there could be some salt builtup on the roots that is causing some issue. Will continue to monitor and do a semi-flush next watering.

Hey mate, careful with those Quantum Boards at that strength. For comparison i run a single Qb288 and it's enough for 3 plants, in fact i turn it down to 90-100w while vegging. Check out their website and check the par ratings for your board's, you should be able to find some pictures of the different ratings around a 2x2 space. You're aiming for no more than 600umol during veg, which i get at 18" at 100w.Also the leaves look very droopy, are they getting overwatered? Ive always used soiless so im unsure about nutrients in super soil, but i can make out some burnt tips on your leaves, maybe the soil is too "hot"?Anyway man, good luck with the grow!

both of your plants looks healthy and Anna looks like she is enjoying too much her growing medium! Wishing you happy growing!
