A Couples First Try Growing

Hi, it’s our first time growing. We started by soaking the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours. After that, we placed them in a wet paper towel, which was put into a plastic bag. It worked great— all 5 seeds germinated. Unfortunately, we only have 4 pots and no other space to grow, so we had to discard one successfully germinated seed. We planted the seedlings in our pots on 02.10.24, around 23:00. I was so nervous about everything—it was pretty funny. I am only taking photos from one seedling, cuz they basicly look all the same on all days We covered the pots with foil (with holes in it) to prevent the water from evaporating too quickly. We started with the lights on at 20%, running them for 18 hours a day. Hopefully, we didn’t mess anything up and all 4 will grow well. All 4 Seedlings managed to grow out of the soil estimated 36 Hours after we planted them, so far we are good to go i think. Waiting for the first pair of leaves to develop before we turn the light to 40%. Will try to keep this up to date. Update 7.10. already managed to do our first misstake. I had the Light all the way to the top of the tent, which is why they strechted so far already all of them are like the update pic i posted. :( Hopefully it didnt do permanent damage already :( im very concerned since i dont have any experience. Reduced the Distance to around 25 cm. Update 9.10. all are looking good, they are still stretched to far but since i reduced the distance to the leds they didnt stretch further.
