Mtz420 2x Vicky
Let's kick off the first grow report with a rare Sativa, an African Sativa, feminized, and it's supposed to produce THC-V (Tetrahydrocannabivarin) as a special cannabinoid. I'm really excited!

Mtz420 So far, the two have grown about 5 centimeters, and the first finger-like leaves are slowly forming. I haven't watered them at all, just moistened the soil a bit with a spray bottle in the morning and evening. When I stick my finger in the soil, there's still enough residual moisture to feel. The pots are also still heavy enough from the initial watering.

Mtz420 So far, I'm not really satisfied; my 3rd seed that I grew before was significantly faster. However, I also completely switched to living soil, and after having a lot of trouble with fungus gnats, everything has just now started to settle in properly. The soil was also inoculated with Trichoderma and mycorrhiza, and bacterial cultures are gradually providing the nutrients. I've basically switched from feeding plants to feeding microorganisms. Other than the lighting, it's all sustainable.

Mtz420 Somehow, not much has really happened in the 3rd week either. Vicky 1 has been weaker from the start, but looks a bit better for it, while Vicky 2 honestly worries me. When I see other strains, they’re already 25cm or more in the same time; these here are really my absolute slowest ever. Let's wait and see over the next few days.

Mtz420 Even in the 3rd week, not much has happened disproportionately. Right now, I'm just letting the two live and will continue to document. The problem was fungus gnats, which I've since managed to control with nematodes. I have other strains growing that are developing significantly better, it's typical, as soon as you document an interesting strain publicly, things go wrong, but no mistakes mean no learning success. See you next week.

Mtz420 The leaves are slowly getting bigger, you can clearly see now that they would like to. Vicky2 is actually getting a healthier green again. Vicky1 never really looked sick; she probably waited for her friend out of solidarity. Vicky1 is 1cm taller than Vicky2.
For the fungus gnats, sticky traps and nematodes were distributed, and in the meantime, the soil was re-inoculated with Trichoderma, mycorrhiza, and beneficial microorganisms. I'm using T.A. Trikologic as an example, but there are also other similar products that have been in my living soil forever.

Mtz420 In the meantime, quite a bit has changed. I now have a large Root Pouch here with a diameter of 114cm where my Vickys are standing. This bed is open in the kitchen, and the walls are covered with reflective foil. Tentless, so to speak. In this bed, all my kitchen herbs, salads, tomatoes, and also wild herbs and wild, original salad forms are growing.
Furthermore, I now have new roommates; my "fertilizer machines" have moved in, and there are now earthworms in the soil that are supposed to ensure strong mamas.
These Vickies will also never bloom, so this report could overall be longer, as I want to show a bit of the "living Soil" experiment here. Also, the first comments have already come in with "rebean" - challenge Accepted! I think I saved the two! They are developing significantly better now.
Have fun continuing to watch.

Mtz420 In the meantime, they have really gotten used to their new environment. Strong colors and increasingly robust stems, as well as noticeably larger leaves, are clear signs. The basil is also getting incredibly strong and dark green leaves and is almost mutating into a rubber tree. Unbelievable, this is only week 1 in my new project Muttis in living soil with kitchen herbs, salads, tomatoes - and earthworms in the soil. I actually saw a few for the first time again today.

Mtz420 In the last week, the bed has really taken off overall. Basil, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, and peas have come up, and my cuttings in between are thriving beautifully.
My Vickys are now transitioning into the adult stage, and the leaves have noticeably gotten bigger.
All in all, it's an absolute dream; so far, the bed requires hardly any work from me, just watering, and every now and then I spray everything down a bit.
New worms have also joined, but they disappeared faster than I could get my camera out; they really vanished into the soil between setting them down and washing my hands.
I can only recommend it for imitation; for anyone needing cuttings and clones: The light also makes lettuce green and tomatoes red. And spring has already arrived in my kitchen.

Mtz420 What can I say? It was a complete success, cannabis is definitely very sociable and thrives beautifully with other herbs and tomatoes. In the coming days, I will be taking my first cuttings, which I will then also send into flowering.
not yet, she's knowen for a very slow growth in the first two to three weeks. An I had some trouble with some "fungus gnats" is this the english word for "Trauermücken"?
So they got Nematodes and the flies were gone now.
I'm also growing that strain starting the week 5 of veg. I also had a slow start, in my case I have to move my light up using SF1000 without dimmer 😔. I hope your girl recover fast good luck. I'm looking forward to see the high thcv effects. Have you tried ?
@eremiita, oh yes, I tried it and it completely cured me of ME/CFS. I was in bed for months and now I feel completely recovered since july.
And my ADHD is symptomless aswell.
@eremiita, If you're looking for a real high THCV Strain, then look for "Doug's Varin". Its about 20 to 24 % of THC-V and about 18 to 20 % of THC. It contains a bit more of THCV than THC.
@ElGrowLab, thank you very much!
Yes, it's an interesting project; I will also use the soil that is created there in the tent, where I then bring individual plants to bloom. The worms moved in today.
