Blue Dream looking better than the GPll. Didn't count the first 5 or 6 days of flower. So we're about 2 Weeks in. Glad I flipped when I did cause they are stretching! Started using Epsom salt every other water and I have not seen spotting like I have in the past 🙌
The Gary Payton seems a little slow but that could be from improper PH for about 4 weeks :/
Her is official Week 3 of Flower. We have crystals! Plants looking good. Stopped stretching, no spots or blemishes. I think the GP2 had some Mg toxicity but it's leveled out. Been defoliating here and there which noticeably fattens up the top colas.
The smell coming from the tent, for now, is more of the fertilizers breaking down with a hint of growing green cannabis. Not so much Flower smell yet. But it's coming 🤙
Now, I have been growing Herbs in the same tent because I HEARD that plants communicate through terpenes. From what I understood, if you grow herbs alongside your flower, the terpenes from the herbs signal to the cannabis to produce other terpenes that they would not have produced, had they not detected the terpenes from the herbs.
We are starting week 5!
Buds fattening up. Smell starting to get stronger.
Blue Dream smells like candy, GP doesn't smell too crazy. I've grown it once before and it kind of under delivered. That could very well be my fault but we will see. I don't think I added enough 444 on the last Topdressed so I added some more. Noticed some lower leaves yellowing and dying but it is somewhat expected.
Also bumped up the lights to about 90%. Getting a little warm in the tent so I'll be adjusting the fan times
Topdressed very light for the last time. Might give some molasses next water but after that it's water only, starting week 7. Blue Dream buds aren't the fattest but hopefully that means they won't be falling over too much. Couple of the big buds are leaning. Gary Payton could prob go an extra week in flower but I'm letting Blue Dream take the lead. So we'll see if GP gets to fully ripen. I'm hoping to harvest around 11-27. Or 40% amber trichomes on the Blue Dream. Im sure the trichs on the GP will be at least 100% cloudy by then.
The final stretch. I dunno what's going on with GP2 but she'll make it.
I'm harvesting based on the Blue Dream Trichs. She's about maybe 5% amber. I'm gonna chop em when she gets to about 40% amber. From my XP, the trichs continue to turn amber after cutting them down. Last grow I waited till 75% amber and it was like sleep medicine. Trying something new shaka
