My first photoperiod grow for quite a while. I'm a bit nervous about it 😂
So I germed a single seed using a method I found after a lengthy trawl of the web. It is a natural sponge, cut in half, which is wetted and wrung out. You then place the seed in this, and place it in an airtight container. Keep this at a nice ~25c in the dark and it will germinate. I found better results for myself than dropping in water or paper towel method.
Day 21 - she got repotted into her 38 Litre airpot. She is not as close to the lights as I'd like, but saying that I wouldn't mind her to stretch a little bit.
She grew well this week. Another 11cm.
Day 42 - I trimmed off about 6 large fan leaves to give lower bud sites some light.
This is her last week of 20/4 veg.
Day 56 - She grew 8cm taller this week. Lots and lots of flower sites forming 😍
Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.
Day 70 - She's really getting frosty now! The smell is very sweet, like Icing Sugar. Amazing 😍
Only 1cm vertical growth this week, I think flowering stretch is over. Bud and trichome production is in full swing.
Quite a lot of change in her this week. Buds have plumped up well and the pistils have started changing colour.
Not sure how long left, I'm thinking a couple more weeks.
P.S. she is mega frosty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😎
Wow she's getting close to the end. Pistils have all but changed brown, trichomes under very close inspection are not milky so she will go on another week. Did I mention she's frosty?? 😍
She is VERY VERY sticky! Smelly too! Wow well isn't she a little gem!!! She grew well, I probably should have vegged her for another week or so to make her taller & yield more. She did not stretch nearly as much as I expected/feared during flower. I'm wondering if this is due to my UVB lights, but I don't 100% know. Even so her flowers are lovely and fat and dense, she is very indica dominant. Smoke is very smooth, very relaxing, with a peppery exhale. It's a high quality strain.
Edit: Upon further investigation my soil was depleted. This is why the yield is low. 😭
Changing soil would be the solution.
Day 106 from seed = Harvest
Dry weights 80.67g......... I would have liked more but she didn't stretch hardly anything after switching to flower. Buds are very dense, very sticky, lots of THC!!
High quality strain, she's gone straight into my top 5 of all time. When I grow photoperiod again this will be on the list!
Dunk I'm pulling out my hair on this one blueberry gum #2 pheno i got dunk. It's not super bushy. buds are crazy dense and it's a pheno that smells like grapefeuit bubblegum. I should of took some clones. hopefully I got this same pheno in my next 5 pack. I took another tester of her and dried her for 5 days and she is absolutely phenomenal better then the blueberry leaning pheno and denser buds.
@Dunk_Junk, awesome 64 days seems to line up with exactly when I wanted to harvest. that means 11 more days. I tried a early sample on friday. definitely a kick ass high, zones yah out real nice lmaoo, the high hits almost instantly and last about 2 hours. I could pulll them now but I want to give them as much time to fill in as possiable
3 quick questions 1.did you use the recommended amount of terpinator? 2.do you really believe that it helps with the smell does it make a difference? 3.and when you added it to the water did you add it with the nutrients in the same container or did you add it separately?
@Dunk_Junk, I've thought about this as well, but waiting until I have a pair of healthy photo clones to use as test subjects. It will also be imperative that each of the two test subjects be equidistant from the UV bulbs in order to have a fair comparison....

1. I used 5ml/L. Recommended is between 2.8 & 8.1 ml/L
2. I've not noticed the smell increase really, just more trichomes
3. Yes mixed in with the nutrients & cannazyme. Also I have a 'plain water' can which also has terpinator in it apart from when in flush, then just plain water.
All that being said I'd love to do a side by side grow sometime.
looks amazing it is definately one for the future, if i did 10 of them and they turned out as good as yours i would be a very happy man. well done keep up the good growing i will be watching from the UK. Youre diary lead me to purchasing terpinator which i have never used before and i can already see and smell difference after 3days of use. thankyou for the guidance my friend

These seeds were gifted to me by someone and I didn't expect much.
She's a really classy strain. Dense flowers. Covered in trichomes. Smells great. Nice high too. It's a mainly indica chill but just enough sativa to keep off the couchlock.
Hey dunk started a journal with my blueberry gum #2 go have a peek and I will keep it updated. pic is just before topping. plants are topped so next time you look they will be different
@BlazedSaiyan, I've uploaded her Genealogy now. She is a hybrid of Blueberry gum (Blueberry x Bubble Gum) and Black Domina. She is very Indica dominant in DNA.
