Grapefruit Diesel - Phenofinder Seeds

Dunk_Junk My first photoperiod grow for quite a while. I'm a bit nervous about it 😂 So I germed a single seed using a method I found after a lengthy trawl of the web. It is a natural sponge, cut in half, which is wetted and wrung out. You then place the seed in this, and place it in an airtight container. Keep this at a nice ~25c in the dark and it will germinate. I found better results for myself than dropping in water or paper towel method. I wish GrowDiaries would add Phenofinder seeds to their databank. The last photoperiod plant I grew was also from Phenofinder seeds and she was awesome. I asked about a year ago if they could be added.... I've asked since.. Wish they'd just let me do it 😂 😅 😆

Dunk_Junk She's growing well this week. I'm excited to grow her actually. Had this seed a couple of years now.

Dunk_Junk Day 21 - She's growing well. No room to put her in a bigger pot unfortunately. I hope she does not suffer as a result. Touching the leaves is already releasing a grapefruit smell!!!!!!! 😍

Dunk_Junk Day 49 - She grew 9cm this week! Smells of grapefruit every time she is touched! 😍

Dunk_Junk OMG when you touch her she REALLY smells of grapefruit!! Sour citrus! Amazing! I'm probably secretly most excited for her harvest. She grew 11 cm too! I've not done a thing to her apart from feed/water and turn her pot 180 degrees through the week.

Dunk_Junk She grew 10cm this week. Day 42 - I cut off a few huge leaves to allow better light penetration. This is the last day of 20/4 lighting. From now on it's 12/12.

Dunk_Junk She's still growing well this week. 8cm growth. It's her first week on 12/12. Changed to 6-12-36 powdered nutrients now.

Dunk_Junk Day 56 - She grew 6cm this week. Not a lot... but she continues to grow well. Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.

Dunk_Junk Day 63 - Flowers just starting. They're looking nice. Through the week I've chopped quite a few leaves off her to allow light penetration.

Dunk_Junk Day 70 - She grew 5cm / 2" this week! The amount of trichomes she has on her is frankly ridiculous 😍 totally white over. The smell upon touching them is intense Grapefruit 😍 PhenoFinders have done a great job breeding this. I'd like to try more of their range.

Dunk_Junk Day 77 - Look at this plant! Just look at it! The trichomes on her are simply amazing. I've never seen anything like it in my tent before. View the close up photos at high res and you can see the trichomes clearly. They're EVERYWHERE!!!! She is ridiculously sticky, and when you touch her the smell is pure grapefruit. Citrus but sour. 😍 I would love to do a lab test on this strain but geographically I cannot..... I'm estimating well over 20% THC....

Dunk_Junk This is the frostiest plant I've ever grown. She is incredible.... Got a few weeks to go though.

Dunk_Junk Day 120 from seed - She is done. Will be harvested in the next couple of days. Flowers are hard as concrete and sticky as glue! 😍

Dunk_Junk Well she's done. I'm disappointed at the number on the scales. She was grown in the smallest airpot but just like her tent-mates she did not stretch much at all during flowering. The first few pictures are of hash I made from the trim. The bud itself is dense and tight and absolutely covered in trichomes!!!!!! As are most of the leaves!!!! A high quality Sativa dominant hybrid.
