Week 1: Vegetative Stage – Both Apricot Autos in Solo Cups
Both Apricot Autos are now in Week 1 of the vegetative stage, settling into their solo cups. One has a small, misshapen leaf, but overall, things are progressing well so far.
This is my first time using airpots, and I’m a bit unsure about the size. The ones I’ve got are 8 inches in diameter, and while that seemed fine at first, I’m wondering if they might be a little small for these autos. From what I’ve learned, depth is more important than overall pot size for root growth in autoflowers, so I’m hoping the airpots will still work. In previous grows, I’ve noticed that the roots never fully filled the pots, no matter the size of the plants, so I’m feeling cautiously optimistic.
For now, I’m focused on keeping everything steady as the plants adjust to their new environment.
Current Setup:
Medium: Locally made seedling mix from an online grow shop
Lights: DLI set to 12
Nutrients: Big Plant Science (not yet introduced)
Everything’s looking good as the Apricot Autos continue their slow and steady growth.
@Fast_Buds, hi I have a couple of fastbuds grows under my belt, I'd be happy to show past progress also, just getting used to this platform and organising my pics.
