Today, I started germinating my 5 marijuana seeds using the paper towel method. It’s a pretty straightforward process, but it still feels exciting to kick off this grow!
First, I dampened a paper towel—not too wet, just enough to keep the seeds moist. I laid the 5 seeds on one half of the towel and folded the other half over them like a little blanket. After that, I slipped the paper towel into a resealable plastic bag, leaving it slightly open for some air. I placed the bag on top of the fridge, where it’s nice and warm, which should help them sprout faster.
Now, I’ll be checking on them each day to make sure the towel stays damp and wait for those tiny roots to poke out. I’m hoping to see some action in the next few days!
Once they’ve sprouted, I’ll carefully plant them into pots, about half an inch deep, with the root facing down. I’m excited to watch these seeds turn into healthy plants.
