Because I bred many thousands of seeds in 2017 & 2018 I was able to extravagantly use about 100 of them to grow sprouts for my cats to add variety to their wheat grass, which they love. They like to smell this, but they haven’t taken a bite. Odd because when the plants are older they do like to eat the leaves. I’ll use them in the quinoa lentil non-meatballs I’m making on a 10” snow day in DC. Served with capellini and a tomato pumpkin sauce.
This will be this diary’s only entry. Just wanted to show the cat sprouts that came from the seeds of Bryce Harper, wild grown 2nd gen. They self germinated and were never tended to again until harvest. No water, no food. Some colas were choked by morning glories. The weed was sublime but not powerful. Everyone loves it...except the cats evidently
@NekoSama,
Thanks and arigato, for introducing me to the spice mixture togarashi. I’m always looking to add to my culinary quiver of dishes. I’ve got thousands of seeds. I guess I can grind & toss a few in the pan. Glad you liked the cat grass. Be well, friend, and happy growing
