Also first time with their seeds. Heard good things, and loved my experience with bubble gum. Just as with green crack, I'm going to top it early and scrog it.
She was supposed to be topped by now, but the nodes are so tightly packed I'm gonna wait a bit more. Roots already visible on bottom of the put so I'm gonna start watering heavily from now on.
She's been topped, and now slowly recovering. It's really annoying me how densely packed this phenotype grows, but hopefully now that she's been topped, she'll spread out more.
I can count seven tops growing, although they still somewhat small. This plant did not take the topping very well, but it recovered and only now is taking off. There were some pH or overeating issues by the looks of it, but nothing major. This should be an interesting week.
I'm happy with the canopy. Now I'm just letting her reach the trellis so I can start tucking. I'm a little worries because I have quite a bit of colas growing, and she's so incredibly packed that I know it will be troublesome during flowering.
She could use another week in veg but green crack is already very crowded so I'm forced to switch them both since they share the tent. She's doing good and ok hope I'll be able to spread her more during the stretch 👍
I'm still trying to spread her, but it's getting more and more difficult (nodes still super tight). I'm inclined to just let her do her thing, and just avoid short plants with scrog in the future. The stalk is super thick so I still think she will yield well, but nowhere near as much as green crack which thrives with scrog.
She's budding up nicely, but throughout the whole growth she just struggles to stretch much. It's still early so I'm hoping she can gain some substantial height 👍
I was a bit let down by this bean. To be fair, I strongly believe that by topping too early, I severely impacted how she grew, and why she never reached her full potential. Yield was sad as a result, but its a quality smoke nevertheless. I have more beans of this strain, and I'm strongly considering to give her another go at some point.
Hi man!
For 10 week....is too small....is very very important to adjust your standard feed chart...coco allow you bigger plant than soil, airport idem...so your baby has not exploited these advantages this time ... damnn - next run will be better!!!
Good luck bro!
If you need, I'm here for all!!!
Happy growing!!!
@DeathEvil,.
Sorry friend, I was referring to the fact that after 10 weeks it was small, only to this friend .... I hope you next run you have a Monster in your tent after 10 week
Our Bubblegum is bushy like that. Training took a ton of patience and a lot of deep interior defoliation. If left to her own devises she would have been a mess. Now unfortunately our Blueberry is on this same path. Best of luck. We'll keep watching. 👍🏿
@GreenDiamond,
Recently I gave her a trim (in addition to more toppings), and while her stalk is getting massive, she's not gaining much height (they are advertised as up to 1 meter so it makes sense). I'm also hoping she'll stretch quite a bit when I flip the switch so I can continue tucking for a while longer:)
She's looking so beautiful and frosty. I'm envious of how beautiful your canopy has turned out too. You've done an amazing job growing this strain and I can't wait for you to post the harvest report so I can see if I want to try out this amazingly beautiful strain. Great work buddy. You should be really proud of this grow. It's A+ Pro stuff :D
@DeathEvil, It should turn out to be some to shelf bud indeed DE. I'm excited to see what you get from this grow. I'm still thinking you'll get a nice big yield from her. Heres to hoping for more than you expect buddy. Cheers!
@DabCrab,
thanks so much for taking the time to write this. While the canopy is nice, and buds look like frosty af, I'm not expecting impressive yields (but definitely top shelf bud which I can tell from the smell, and density:)
They bro, she looks a bit pale, hungry by the lower leaves... I would suggest you considere feeding some base nutes, or some kind of organic tea if you prefere. Cheers, happy growing!
