BeanswithPork A litte confused when joining this website, this is after 9 weeks of flowering, not 9 weeks total lifespan from seed. 105, and 97 days from seed respectively. Aiming to flower both for 11 weeks.

BeanswithPork Day 112 and day 104 respectively from seed, week 10 of flowering. Not much of a smell because of the typically low temperatures and humidity, but the resin/trichomes when touched smell strongly of citrisy fuel. The Sour Diesel genetics are great. I will make one more post pre-harvest, and then I will chop them Friday (six days).

BeanswithPork Day 119 and day 111 from seed respectively. This is my last post before harvesting at 11 weeks of flowering. Based on my growing conditions, waiting two weeks past Crop King’s timeline of 9 weeks was worth it; the plants really filled out in the last few weeks. I routinely harvest after the night cycle, and often leave my plants in darkness for 24 hours before harvest. However, I have had no evidence of benefits. I do not typically weigh my buds, but will attempt to acquire a digital scale so I can report the dry yield.

I used another flowering timeline of 11 weeks, Crop King suggested 9 weeks. In my environment the buds used those extra two weeks.

BeanswithPork Day 124 and day 116 respectively, from seed. 11 weeks of flowering. 5 days drying. Total noob yield? Yes. Am I still happy? Of course! This is only my second and third plant from seed. They both had instances of overfeeding, overwatering and tolerated cold nightime temperatures from an unfinished basement. I have learned many lessons. I have since shied away from topping my other plants and will just tie them over for multiple crowns. LST is great. Selective defoliation did not seem detremental, for sake of accuracy I can’t really say it was beneficial either. I only weighed the large solid buds with the stems trimmed. Looking forward to vaping Sour Jack for awhile!

Started from seed in 6.5 L pots. Too strong mix of Sunshine Soil #4 and sheep manure in bottom and middle portions. Seeded in Sunshine #4/perlite/peatmoss/Myka microculture top. Sour Jack (I) was shocked and or/overwatered early in veg. and slowly rebounded. Fed Miracle Grow 21-8-16 early on. Sour Jack (II) was shocked multiple times in veg. from nitrogen toxicity. Fed Miracle Grow liquid food. Suffered phosporous deficiency due to low average temperatures - mitigated by reducing ventilation and turning up main furnace. Both fed Alaskan Morbloom 0-10-10 midway through flower and suffered only slight leaf discoloration (tips). Top dressed with worm castings and bonemeal partway through flower.
