PODDY MOUTH

1st Week of veg. I skipped the 2 first weeks of seedling. She received 3 waterings this week and a top dress at the end of the week just to keep her happy for a while. So far so good, long internodal spacing.

2nd Week of veg. Beautiful and showing a Sativa dominance let see how she turns up, this week she was topped at the 5th node. She was watered 3 times.

3rd Week of veg. Looking good, at the end of the week she was top dressed for pre flowering and got a bit of defoliation as well removed the lower suckers. She was watered 2 times.

4th Week of veg. This week the tent is flipping to flower. I did LST to her. She was watered 3 times. PS: I forgot to take pictures, sorry….

1st Week of flower ( Stretching ). Already in flower stage and not looking bad at all. I defoliated and lollipopped her. She was watered 4 times.

2nd Week of flower ( Stretching ). Looking great so far and already producing a little amount of thricomes leaving a nice aroma. She was defoliated 2 times during the week. Watered 4 times.

3rd Week of flower. Nice improvement this week producing much more trichomes even on fan leafs overall buds looks very good and the stacking is very nice. This week I pluck some leafs here and there but nothing crazy, there is a leaf that shows some kind of issue maybe caused by overwatering or light stress, also did the last top dressing for flower. What is also very nice its the smell in the tent, kind of sweet earthy aroma. She was watered 3 times.

4th Week of flower. This girl is the one who suffered the most this week ... I checked the symptoms on the plant doctor web site (thanks to @420_scene for the information) and I suppose that this combo of symptoms of deficiencies she presents is due to light stress, generating deficiencies of Phosphorus, potassium and calcium. The last Top Dress should have kick in on the middle of this week and should be sufficient unless she is a heavy feeder. Watered 3 times.

5th Week of flower. She looks better this week it seems she recovered but not completely. Flowers have really swollen up getting chunky also taking a beautiful shape and density really is good I had to tie 3 of the 4 main colas because they were hanging. Some pistils started to turn brownish and flowers have a good coat of trichomes ( on leafs is crazy ) giving a beautiful view. She´s drinking like crazy….watered 4 times. Now till end I will water just water and give once at the week enzymes to help uptake last nutrients as well to help “ clean “ the soil.

6th Week of flower. Much better this week, flowers looks bit more chunky and dense as well covered with a lot of trichomes.The smell it´s turning stronger. I had to readjust the mooring of one of the colas. Finally this week I decided to add microbes as last time for help on the 7th week. Watered 4 times, now she must slow down the water uptake.

7th Week of flower. Very good week for this girl. I must say that she is closer to the light of what Mars Hydro recommends but, I trust the genetics of this seed bank and I am sure that she can handle it at this stage. Flowers swelled up nicely this week so they will end with a decent size, trichome production is crazy plus the colors showed off. This strain also would be a great producer in a bigger pot, I´m happy so far. Watered 4 times.

8th Week of flower. Good week for this girl, despite the lack of nutrients flowers looks much better now showing more density, still some white pistils but already a few milky trichomes. Even having tied the colas there are some that by their weight hang a little bit and still have to gain more weight. Watered 3 times.

9th Week of flower. Getting closer to harvest. Flowers have swollen a bit more, gained the last weight, colors are impressive and they look so frosty plus all trichomes are now milky. Watered 3 times, water uptake have really slow down and I´m giving much less amount of water.

Day 56 after stretching / preflower, Harvest day. Well… she´s done, trichomes are perfect for my liking, mostly cloudy and a few amber. While she dry trichomes will mature a bit more and so on during cure. I could did better with the defoliation maintenance so something to improve next time. I removed dead leafs as well faded ones, just left enough leafs for a slow dry, aiming for 7 - 14 days. ASAP final results.

Drying ended after 13 days. An exuberant final result, aroma, resin, density and I hope in flavor too. Her buds look spectacular with that frozen coverage they present and the vast majority have a good size. I must grow her again for sure, without tasting it, I see a good potential and I think this variety fits me a lot. In this round I was short of nutrients for this girl but still the harvest was quite good. In principle I wanted to grow 3 Humboldt varieties that I liked for reviews and videos of some growers, it was this Poddy Mouth, in addition to Blueberry Muffin and Blueberry Pancake; Blueberry Muffin was out of stock but I could get Blueberry Pancake. It was a pity that the latter was not successful, I bought a pack of 3 seeds and only germinated 1 but, it did it in a way I never saw. Instead of showing the tap root, the cotyledons emerged directly… .. I will let a picture of this strange germination in case someone has happened to something similar and can tell me what is due? So, to get out of doubt with their flavor I will give these flowers a curing time of 2 or 3 weeks and then leave my opinion in the smoke review. I kept the trims to recover the Keef, it definitely contributed a lot. Yield 70.4g
