Smowkabowl I am playing catch up with this diary because I didn't think Tangie would survive or that I was going to keep her. I hadn't decided what I was going to do with her and the space so I just left her. She had quit growing and her leaf died so I thought she was done and I was going to replace her. Next thing I new she just started growing. She has tiny leaves and stands at 4 inches and is way behind her siblings. They were all born pretty much at the same time. Since I'm doing a super soil and all I am really going to do is water from here on out, we will see what she can do. Peace

Smowkabowl Week 3 is going like most week 3s, a lot of vegetative growth. I didn't do much at all this week, didn't water much because they're still recovering from my overwatering the previous week. Tangie is so far behind I decided to use her as test for some LST and tied her back to see if I can get her branches to develop a little faster. Thanks for stopping in and checking out the progress. Questions and comments are always welcome and appreciated. Smowkabowl All the dreams we held so close, seemed to all go up in SMOKE, let me whisper in your ear: TAngie, TAngie, where will it lead us from here? I'm dreaming of some Tangie alright, but, I don't know what to expect when she's said and done. That's if she is a she because she still hasn't shown me her sex yet. I have another 28 day old that hasn't shown either, all the rest have given it up and shown. Hopefully, it won't be long. Anyway, Tangie has had an excellent week of growth. I think the super soil may have kicked in because growth has been explosive and color is a beautiful shade o' green. And nobody is flowering yet! Go figure? I have been doing some LST with Tangie and learning what to do because I think it may come in handy in the future. She is about 42 inches from the light and she is getting a half gallon of RO water with added CalMag, brown sugar and Epsom salts every other day. Oh, and it usually comes in at 425 ppm and the RO water has been pH'n @ 6.8 without any up or down, so, cool! Thanks for tuning in and turning on. All questions or comments are greatly appreciated. Peace

Smowkabowl Day 35 and Tangie showed Female this past week. I think I am done training her. I want to let all her buds grow straight up from here. She is packed with branches, I'll get a count for the next update. Not a whole lot to report otherwise. She hasn't been drinking a lot 32 oz. every other day and that may be because she keeps getting pushed to the limits of the light. My garden overfloweth. I need more lights, just not in the budget right now. Anyway, she is beautiful and should start flowering soon. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to comment. Peace

Smowkabowl End week 6 Day 42 Light: 20/ 4 cycle with a 60w 3500k AutoCob. Medium: Coco 80%, perlite 20% mixed with Nature's Living Soil concentrate (top 2/3, 1 lb/ 5 gallons medium; bottom 1/3, 1+1/2 lb/ 3 gallons medium). Feed: 1/2 gallon RO water with 4ml CaMg+, 1/2-1 tsp brown sugar and 1/2-1 tsp Epsom salt/ gallon/ day, temperature 66-73 F, pH 6.2-7.0. Room Temperature: 72-78 F Leaf surface Temperature: 68-82 F (always below 85 F). RH: 45-60% CO2: Lights On: 800-1200, Lights Out: 350-450 Tangie is doing great. She got her own light this week when we splurged and upgraded the lighting with some AutoCobs. Tangie and both Hempy's each got their own light. The big garden got a supplemental COB too. Tangie has been praying ever since and stretched over 10 inches this past week. She still hasn't flowered but she looks like she is close. Not much else to report, she has great color, size and structure. No signs of deficiency, no burnt tips, nothing. Thanks for stopping by and tuning in. All questions and comments are greatly appreciated. Peace

Smowkabowl End of week 8, day 56 update: Tangie has topped out at 38 inches and gone into full flower production. She is beautiful dark green, which seems to be normal for Tangie'matic based on observation of other diaries, highlighted by the whitest pistils. I am excited to see her with big white nuggs everywhere.... heh, heh. She is getting 96 oz of RO water pH'd to anywhere btwn. 6.2 and 7.0 with 4 ml CalMag+ with approx. 1 tsp Epsom salt and 1/2 tsp brown sugar per gallon. I have been giving all the coco based plants this formula since week 2 and the biggest change has been the amount I give them. I may do 96 ounces for a couple days, then 64 ounces for a day or let them dry out for a day or two. It all depends on the weight of the pot and how much they had grown that day. Now that everyone is flowering I will go by weight and observed growth of flowers. This grow has been super easy, except a hic-up or two from Tangie, from the beginning. Make RO water, add a few supplements, check pH (usually comes in at 6.8), feed plants. I haven't had to worry about any deficiencies, no leaf tip burn... nothing. It's almost scary... just waiting for something. On to week 9.... I'm thinking she will be a 12 weeker at least, since she got a late start on flowering. Thanks for tuning in and leave a "like" or comment. Peace

Smowkabowl Week 9 day 63, but only 3rd week of flower. Tangie is doing great, she has plenty of bud sites and she is fattening up nicely. I'm thinking 3 more weeks at least. Feeding straight H2O the rest of the way. Thanks for tuning in and smile. Peace

Smowkabowl Tangie is fading fast but her trichomes say she isn't ready yet. They are mostly cloudy and bountiful. The buds seem dense and heavy. I'm thinking Tangie may be, over-all, the best I will have grown to date. A few more days to harvest though and I would like to see her hair darken some more too. Thanks for turning on and tuning in. Check back next week. Peace

Happy Harvest Day!

I love FastBuds! I love Tangie'matic! This turned out to be the best of the garden. After a rough start Tangie ended up being the best yield and flavorful flower. The flavor is citrus and the smell is tangerines. It took a good four weeks before the true flavor and smell came forward. Smell like fresh peeled orange after breaking up a bud.

Smowkabowl I highly recommend FastBuds genetics. I have had 100% germination within 96 hours and usually within 72 hours. Tangie'matic turned out just as I had hoped. Large yield and beautiful buds. I will keep it in my rotation as I try other FB genetics. Thanks for tuning in and following along. Peace

Looking lovely and the smell must be amazing! Does it smell citrusy and fruity as their name suggests? Great job though, keep up the hard work! 😎

@Momgrowsthechronic, thank you for the kindness. I have been so busy the last few days I almost forgot about Tangie, except for the daily burping sessions of course. Your message reminded me that it has been 2 weeks since I put her in the jar. So, I took her out and weighed her again (hardly any change from the original dry weight) and sampled her with a water pipe and a glass bowl, after all it wouldn't be right if I didn't Smowkabowl! And I must say, Tangie is by far my favorite grow in every which way. I'll go more into it in my harvest report. To answer your question though, she has an undeniable citrus smell, which I love. But the best part is the fresh orange peel smell on your fingers after loading a bowl. Stay tuned and turned on. Peace
